  The lot rent here is one of the highest almost 1300.00 a month just for the lot rent not including your utilities or your insurance or your mortgage that's just to park your home on the grounds here. If People are smart they would move out of this place in droves and nobody would give in. To many private Equity firms RIPPING OFF AMERICANS. SHAME ON YOU

  Do Not Move Here!! Buyer Beware!! Ever since this COVE Corporate Crap started this place has gone straight downhill. I have lived in Ft Myers for over 50 years and have known many many folks who lived here. Never in all that time have I been treated rudely at the gate. The other night I was. Inexcusable rudeness. The person I was visiting Called The Gate and gave her NAME And ADDRESS as well as my name not 15 minutes before I arrived. I said hello and told them who I was visiting. I even spelled her last name. I was rudely asked...what's her address? Told them I did not know. Asked me how I was going to get there if I did not know..... REALLY? I AM GOING TO DRIVE THERE LIKE I ALWAYS DO. Remember, she called this fool only minutes ago. She GAVE her ADDRESS. What was the purpose of this? Did this fool not make a note that ONE OF THE PEOPLE THEY ACTUALLY WORK FOR CALLED TO HAVE A GUEST ADMITTED? IS THAT NOT THEIR JOB?? TO THE COVE. Do not bother with your auto-generated response. Not worth my time.

  We are new to this resort. During our first couple of days, my 80 yr old father came to visit for two days. He parks out front of our place, no warning, they TOWED his car. We had asked at the gate if he needed a pass, and rules? The gate staff, hired owners, said, "You don't need a pass for a 2 to 3 day stay." NOTHING WAS SAID. I took pictures of three vehicles parked on the road on the way to the office. But, the office said, "Absolutely no vehicles are allowed to park on the road, or grass, at anytime." Ok, I guess the rules are subjective. Also, the Crappy trailer next to ours has written violations for all the junk outside, nothing happens. I was looking to buy a place in this community after our lease was up, but not now. I'm so glad this came up now before making that decision. If we had bought in, it would have been hard to reverse and get out with units dropping from $50k, to as low as $5k. The rigid and inconsistent rule enforcement and the $1750 a month lot rent is effectively crushing dreams.
