VERY DISAPPOINTING I was not a resident at The Whitney, but I have been directly involved in a situation regarding my boyfriend’s security deposit, and the way management has handled it has been extremely disappointing. Contradictory explanations, poor communication, and now they are saying he needs a joint bank account with his ex-partner and the co-signer to get his own deposit back. And Ariana deserves a special mention. She is very nice when everything is going well, but once there is a real problem, she stops responding and does not take accountability. I’ve personally witnessed how stressful this situation has been. Think twice before renting here, and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

⭐ SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE — READ THIS BEFORE RENTING AT THE WHITNEY If I could give The Whitney 0 stars, I would. I was a resident for several years and honestly never expected getting my own security deposit back to turn into such a ridiculous nightmare. I moved from apartment 215 to apartment 111 and paid a $500 security deposit for each apartment — $1,000 total. When it was time to get my money back, suddenly nobody seemed to have a clear answer about where my deposit went. I was given different and contradictory explanations about my money. I asked for documentation and a clear explanation of what happened to my deposit, but instead of getting straightforward answers, I kept getting more confusion. And now, somehow, the solution they came up with is that I need to have a JOINT BANK ACCOUNT WITH MY EX-PARTNER AND THE CO-SIGNER in order to receive the money. You literally cannot make this up. *And let me say something about Ariana:* Please be careful. My personal experience with her was extremely disappointing. She is very friendly and makes you feel like she genuinely wants to help until there is an actual problem. Then, when you need answers or accountability, suddenly she is nowhere to be found and stops responding. In my experience, being nice when everything is going well means absolutely nothing if you disappear when your resident actually needs help. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. A property management company should be able to tell you exactly where your security deposit is, how it was handled, and why you are or are not receiving it. That should not require months of emails, chasing people down, and getting different answers. If you’re thinking about renting here, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Keep every receipt. Keep every email. Keep every payment confirmation. Keep screenshots of every conversation. And most importantly, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Because when everything is fine, everyone is friendly. The real test is what happens when there is a problem. And based on my experience, The Whitney failed that test. I would NEVER rent here again, and I absolutely cannot recommend this property. Do yourself a favor and think twice before giving them your money.

Great place to live! Social areas are maintained well, if you need maintenance in your apartment they show up pretty fast, and the people in the leasing office are very helpful. Especially Brian, whenever we needed anything he was quick to help and just a genuinely nice and caring person. 10/10!

I've truly enjoyed living at The Whitney. From day one, the entire team has been incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely accommodating to anything I've needed. It's rare to find a management team that consistently goes above and beyond, but that's exactly what I've experienced here. The office staff is always friendly, responsive, and willing to help, no matter how big or small the request. Maintenance has also been outstanding—quick to respond, knowledgeable, and they always make sure the job is done right. One of the things I appreciate most is the sense of community. The residents are friendly, respectful, and it makes the building feel like a place you're happy to come home to every day. If you're looking for a well-managed community with an exceptional staff that truly cares about its residents, I highly recommend The Whitney. Thank you to everyone on the team for making it such a great place to call home!
