NOW HEADING TO LAWYER-OWNER NOW HAS REMOVED THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL BECAUSE BLACK WATER ALL CAME IN THE SINK. THAT IS AN AMENTITY. ICE MAKER DOES NOT WORK. SUNFLOWER SEEDS THROUGHOUT ONE OF THE BEDROOMS. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE
- ZLZsolt LeleAug 30, 20261.0My experience with Rent Me Florida ended extremely poorly, and I would not use this agency again. I requested a final walkthrough when moving out, but no one showed up. I left the property clean and repaired the small nail holes I had made. Despite this, I later received substantial claims against my security deposit for several items that I strongly dispute. What makes this especially frustrating is that the home was not delivered to me in perfect condition in the first place. It was not freshly painted, there were existing patched holes and cleanliness issues, and the hot tub advertised with the property never worked during my tenancy. I am completely willing to pay for damage I actually caused. What I will not accept is being held responsible for pre-existing conditions or charges that I believe are unjustified. Future tenants should protect themselves: take detailed timestamped photos and videos of every room, wall, appliance and fixture when moving in AND moving out. Keep every email and maintenance request, and do not rely solely on a verbal understanding of the property’s condition. The way my move-out inspection and security deposit were handled destroyed my confidence in this company. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Rent Me Florida.

Jan Lee was found to be non-responsive and very rude once we surprised her by showing up at office. Pool non usable for first week. It took 5 different people and more than a week to find someone to fix. Second, water pressure tank went out and needed replacement. Without water for 2 days. Lastly the dryer broke down. If Jan Lee was good at her job she would have insisted that the owner provide some kind of compensation to offset what were MAJOR issues. She however thought that would be some kind of inconvenience.
