I've lived all over Pinellas, and this is by far the best complex/community i have ever been. I didnt think I'd be here years later, but alas.. I am. The staff has all been here for years, super friendly and personable. Kate, Griselle and Frank are a few of the staff that make living here so easy.
Maintenance: This is probably one of the craziest things about living here. I posted a maintenance request at noon while at work, checked the "permission to enter" box, and by 3:00pm the request was completed. Now is it always this fast? No. Sometimes they get backed up, but it's way better than anywhere else I've lived.
Amazon delivery: they have a system that delivers packages and its super easy to pickup.
Valet trash: 5x or 6x a week, nightly pickup. Very convenient.
Amenities and property upkeep: they do an awesome job making this place look liveable and neat.
Security: Gated complex & onsite security.
Convenience: you can have a craving, walk to Walmart and buy it, and be back in your apartment within 10 minutes, without ever having to drive there.

I just moved here 4 weeks ago from Ohio, and obviously, a stranger to everything. Gateway, and specifically the office staff, have been nothing but a blessing to me being new here! They have been extremely helpful since the day I got here! Very thankful for Gateway and their staff! Couldn’t be happier!

Buyer beware. Lived here for almost a year and at first was great. The apartment itself is wonderful and the grounds are pretty well kept up and maintenance does the best they can and all of the maintenance guys are wonderful, but when it comes to management good luck. It seems like they only want to enforce rules that they choose they want to due to Google reviews instead of what's is in their contractual lease.
They allowed the small valet trash bins to be left outside your door 24/7 when we initially moved in but because of 2 Google reviews back around February of this year 2026, they started to enforce the time frame of the trash bin being outside because they didnt want the property to look trashy, but when the dumpster broke down and their apparent lack to fix it in a timely manner and even took weeks to get a temporary dumpster until the compactor was fixed, and even then trash was still piled around the compactor and recycle area for weeks. So I'm curious on what their response and reason is for the trash area to be like this on a Saturday evening. But I'm sure they are gonna reply to this review with some excuse that blames the valet trash people or dumpster company because this place in my opinion seems to not take responsibility for anything and points blame to others and the lack of communication. On top of other issues my husband and I have been having with this community when you raise issues with the management with pictures and proof, they send you a letter of lease non-renewal due to reasons they can't prove with also no previous warnings or write-ups or anything. But they say they are taking care of the issues we raise but yet we are still constantly sending emails for the same reasons.
So just be sure read all reviews when looking for a new place and dont push away the negative reviews. Of anything the negative reviews are what need to be looked for and taken into consideration when looking for a place to live. The pictures of the trash were taken on 6/27/26 and 6/28/26. So I'm curious on the excuse from management about this. There's a simple solution but doubtful they will do anything about. And is blocking the access of a walk thru gate which could be a safety hazard in a case of emergency. Highly disappointed

I can't belive the downhill quality of life here is and I haven't even been here for a year, mind you standing up for yourself and speaking out somehow gets you kicked out of here so do as your told and not to do as everyone else does, but the fact they were cracking down on the image due to trash issues and yet a few months later it's worse. The property team doesn't care about this place clearly, maintenance can't get stuff done properly if they aren't told by the management team the issues or anything. I am truly disappointed in 11 months I went from wow what an amazing place I can't wait to be here for a while to well not allowed to be here and starting to think why spend $2,300 for a place like this we're i can go on the water for that price. We'll I ain't gonna recommend this property to anyone STAY FAR WAY!!!

I have lived at Gateway North for almost a year and I must say that I am SO impressed with the leasing staff- Kate, Grisel and Frank, as well as the complex itself. The above staff have provided the most amazing experience with their level of service, care and hospitality. It truly is a joy to live at an apartment complex where the staff go above and beyond- not just on needs as they arise, but also by providing activities and social events that make it super fun to live here. They have ALWAYS addressed any needs or issues with generous care, speed and attention. Gateway North in addition to having amazing staff, is a gem in such a convenient location. The amenities are fantastic and I love coming home everyday. I cannot say these things about 99% of the places I have lived previously- so major props to Gateway North and its incredible staff!
