Worked with this brokerage and their agent Greg Zies late last year to purchase a townhome. I found the property he did not. He did absolutely no negotiation on the price. I am a disabled veteran and my girl and I had a kid on the way at the time so we entrusted him to act in our best interest. Many identical units sold for far less than what we paid in the same neighborhood which was publicly available data and as a buyers agent he should've seized upon that information while crafting our offer. We ended up overpaying by tens of thousands of dollars so this isn't some vague sour grapes nebulous complaint. It is tangible and real and as a professional he had a duty to act in our best interest. Furthermore I reached out to a separate buyers agent who handled an identical unit sale next to mine that closed before ours did to find out if the lower purchase price included the same deal I worked out with the Sales rep (closing costs covered etc) and it did. So before Greg jumps in here and says our higher sales price included concessions others did not he's incorrect I personally spoke with the buyers agent that handled the sale of the identical unit and the concessions were the same (closing costs fully covered) he just failed to do any negotiating on the purchase price (like any agent worth their commission would do)
In addition he never once showed up to any inspection this is backed up by text messages that I have. Not only did he not show up to inspections which I as a disabled veteran could not attend due to physical therapy he never once showed his face on the day of closing. When I brought this to the attention of his broker Steve Zeris at Remax he offered a longwinded and convoluted explanation that involved PMI which only lends credence to my argument that not only are these people lazy...they are incompetent. My home was purchased using a VA loan so the broker's explanation not only does not make sense it is a physically impossibility as VA loans NEVER have PMI.
This is not my first or second rodeo. I have owned 4 different properties in my lifetime. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with an agent and his broker. In my experience once the contract was signed I received very little representation or advocacy despite paying for a buyers agent. Also for what it's worth I invoked mediation as I was entitled to do so under the contract we signed as I truly believed this was beyond the pale as far as a transaction that was merely mishandled. I sincerely believed there was contractual issues in question as far care and diligence were concerned. I sent this notice out via certified mail as well as notified the broker Steve Zeiris in writing via email on December 10th 2025 at 7:32 pm that I was invoking mediation and they flat out ignored me. I say all this to say it's not enough that these people are incompetent in my view. They will wash their hands of you the minute you invoke what you're contractually entitled to do so. If you have an issue down the line just know you're on your own. They will not fulfill their contractual duties and they will not go to mediation as they are contractility obligated to do.
I have no intention of pursuing this matter further anymore. I am merely writing this to inform the public of my experience. This review is simply an account of experience.

Just closed on my new vacation home and couldn’t be happier with my realtors! Larry and Mona brokered an amazing deal for us and went above and beyond to represent our best interests. Thank you both for making the entire transaction smooth, from start to finish!

Called the Bradenton office to speak with the person in charge of recruiting new agents and he wasn’t available at the moment. His name is Patrick so I left a voicemail. He NEVER called back, so I’m taking my business somewhere else.
