  I'm from Sarasota. I have lived in over 7 apartment complexes in the area. The area in Lakewood RANCH is A plus. These apartments are nice. But I am giving this place one star simply because of the non working ac unit. My apartment is between 80-85 degrees for almost 16 hours a day. Maintenance comes and they say they fix it. Nothing is ever improved. I pay 2 grand a month for this. Look elsewhere simply because the AC units don't work. It's feels like your sitting in a hot car in your $2000 apartment. No other complaints besides AC units don't work. Management is despondent towards this problem. It's not only me. Most people that I have spoken to around the neighborhood say the same thing. It gets 80 degrees in their apartment. Management tells everyone it's normal for Florida. ITS NOT NORMAL....they are not from around here. Management tells everyone to buy blackout window curtains and a portable AC unit. IF YOU LIKE LIVING IN A SAUNA THEN ECHO LAKE IS THE PLACE TO CALL HOME!

  Echo Lake was so pleasant, and a great community to live in! The staff was super friendly and helpful all the time. Also, the maintenance tech, Bob, would always be so friendly and give our dog treats! He also showed a lot of dedication to keeping the community clean. Thank you, Echo Lake!

  Michelle was the best during our tour! She greeted us with welcoming and positive energy and made the usually stressful journey of touring apartments enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable about the property, fees, changing rates etc. and was able to answer every question we had. She even gave us local recommendations for live music and food! Great customer service and a wonderful property.
