One person left after 2 years and the office allowed me to sign a new lease without her. Now they’re upset with me because I complained about my washer and dryer. They told me the problem is that a new company took over on August 1, 2025, and I signed my lease in August. My question is simple: Why did they let me sign the lease last year if they knew ownership was changing? They never told me about the new ownership until after I complained. I asked the office to send the paperwork electronically so the person who left could sign it, and they refused. They showed me a policy that has FPI Management on it. This whole situation feels unfair and poorly handled. After 4 years here, the way they’re treating long-term residents over a maintenance complaint and lease paperwork is disappointing.
