  Our journey to building our home started in November 2025 and concluded in August 2026. While some of that time was spent working with lawyers to get our land in order, once the ball was officially in Oakwoods' court, they truly played a "good game." Our first experience was with Mitchell Gordon, who walked us through multiple show homes to help us find the perfect fit. Mitchell was fantastic; he showed us every option that aligned with our wants and needs, while also helping us identify exactly what we did and didn't want. Throughout the process, the entire Oakwoods team went above and beyond. Mitchell was incredibly dedicated, even answering calls on his days off to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved joking around with Beth in the office, and Gil always gave us a hard time just because we gave it right back to him! It genuinely felt like a family experience. Jeremy was also exceptional, walking us through every detail to make sure everything was perfect. He was always proactive with communication, keeping us informed about the next steps and where we stood. And Gil—he quickly became our favorite. Even when we were what some might call "a pain in the side" customers, he always gave it to us straight and never led us down the wrong path. If you are looking for a company that is kind, caring, and dedicated to getting the job done right, go to Oakwoods. We want to personally thank everyone there who put their time, energy, and hard work into bringing our vision to life; we could not be more grateful. If you are second-guessing your choice for any reason, just do it. We are now a few days into our new home, and everything is perfect. Even now, they are only a call away if we need anything.

  Jeremy always responds in 30 minutes or less when I reach out to him. I have had nothing but amazing service from him since the very beginning! Today our outside spigot went bad which resulted in having to turn off all the water to the house. The plumber was unable to make it, and even though Jeremy initially stated he wasn’t l able to stop by today because of how busy he was, he ended up taking the matter into his own hands and showed up within the hour to fix the spigot in less then 10 minutes and get our water back on!
