  The Glover House treats residents’ pets just like family. They are the definition of a Pet Friendly Community and their pet spa is IMMACULATELY up kept. I would recommend any pet parent in Georgetown who is looking for a luxurious living space with the special touch that also caters to your pets’ needs as well, look no further.

  David from the maintenance team is an absolute gem of a human being. He offered great help through out my stay here, in his usual kind and heartwarming manner. In one particular instance, he volunteered to assembled a kitchen island for me on his off-day, which turned out to be a 8-hour long workload. It couldn't have been done without him, and I thoroughly enjoyed our time working together on the little construction project. May God bless him and his family.

  I am extremely disappointed with how The Glover House management handled the prolonged central AC outage and, particularly, their lack of communication afterward. The building’s central air conditioning was not functioning properly from March through early July, meaning residents went months without working central AC as temperatures climbed into some of the hottest weeks of the summer. To be fair, management did provide residents with small AC units that attached to the windows while the central system was down. I appreciated having some form of temporary cooling, but these units were a temporary workaround—not a replacement for functioning central air in an apartment building at this price point. What has made the situation significantly more frustrating is management’s lack of response afterward. I sent multiple emails regarding the prolonged outage and my concerns about how the situation was handled. I made an effort to address everything directly and professionally with management before posting publicly. My emails have not been responded to. I understand that major mechanical problems happen and that repairs can sometimes take time. But having the central AC out from March until early July, including as DC entered the hottest part of the summer, is a significant issue. At the very least, I expected management to acknowledge and respond to residents who raised concerns about the experience. The Glover House does have positive qualities, but prospective residents deserve to know how major issues are handled when they arise. Based on my experience, a serious building issue lasted for months, the temporary solution consisted of small window-attached AC units, and my subsequent attempts to communicate my concerns with management have gone unanswered. For the amount residents pay to live here, I don’t think responsive management, transparent communication, and accountability are unreasonable expectations. I would not advise or recommend anybody to move/live here.

  Moving from California to D.C. for the first time, we wanted a home that would make this new chapter feel special. We moved into Glover House during the 2025 holiday season, and it has been such a lovely experience. The location offers a wonderful balance: a charming neighborhood feel while still being close to so much of what makes D.C. exciting. The building has an upscale, almost boutique-hotel atmosphere, with cute, thoughtfully designed apartments and gorgeous, spacious community areas. The work center is honestly the nicest and most spacious I’ve seen in an apartment community—a place where you can comfortably settle in and get things done for hours. And the rooftop is something special: a perfectly sized pool, plenty of room to relax, and beautiful indoor-outdoor spaces for spending time with friends. But the view is what gets me every time. It’s the most breathtaking view of D.C. I’ve seen, in every kind of weather. It never fails to make me fall in love with being here. Just as important, the staff are warm, friendly, and responsive. The building is clean and well-managed, and whenever we’ve needed help, support has been quick. I especially want to recognize the community manager, Jesse Moore, for his help during our time here. His kindness and support have meant so much to us and will always be greatly appreciated. Glover House has made our first experience living in D.C. truly special. I’m so glad we chose it and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to call home ❤️.
