  Here is my review of Dock 79 ...because the management team is the worst of the worst. The other reviews mentioning that they stare at you through the glass is accurate ... with complete disdain and annoyance. You being in the lobby annoys them so move quickly. For your application ..they will ask for the same things 3 times and then give you passive aggressive answers instead of just answering your questions about the process. Did they say they reserved the loading dock for your move? Almost 100% chance they didn't so make sure you follow up with the Concierge. The concierge team is amazing, so is maintenance. The management team is disrespectful to residents, never follows through on their commitments, and consistently makes residents feel uncomfortable in their own building. This is not a luxury property. Go elsewhere in the Navy Yard.

  I have thoroughly enjoyed living at Dock 79 and continue to be impressed by the level of service and professionalism provided by the team. The property is well-maintained, welcoming, and truly feels like home. A special thank you to Irv in Security, who is always friendly, professional, and attentive to residents' needs. It's reassuring to know there is someone so dedicated helping keep the community safe and secure. I also want to recognize Andrea and Ian in the Front Office for their outstanding customer service. They are always responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to assist residents. At the Front Desk, Day, Kevin, and Destiny consistently provide a warm welcome and exceptional support. Their positive attitudes and willingness to help make a noticeable difference in the resident experience every day. Finally, I would like to thank the entire Maintenance and Custodial Team. Their hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to keeping the property clean, functional, and beautiful do not go unnoticed. They play a huge role in making this a great place to live. Overall, this is a wonderful community with a team that genuinely cares about its residents. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home.

  I have lived here for 5 months and have no complaints!!! I love it here! The building is clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly! I have NOT seen any bugs/pests! Elevators are always working. I’ve had zero issues with stolen packages and Maintenance fixes issues quickly as well! Overall 10/10 I really cannot complain, this is an amazing place to live with a stunning view. Adrienne & John are amazing staff here as well, Always helpful.

  I had such a great experience working with John. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make this home search easy. I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for a new home!

  A few months into my second year here, I want to recognize Andy from the maintenance team. I think this was my first time needing maintenance support; until now, my interactions with the team had mostly been brief greetings in the elevator. The entire crew has always been friendly. Today, Andy responded promptly and resolved a minor issue. He took the time to clearly explain the problem, the repair, and anything I should watch for going forward. Job well done.
