  I don’t know what’s going on with management, but I’m so happy I only have six months left on my lease. The management here is a mess. There’s barely anyone on-site to assist you, maintenance has random days off throughout the week, which is really weird, and the HVAC system is expensive every month. On top of that, Wi-Fi is $100 a month, and it’s not even that great. And let’s not even talk about the fact that they don’t even have a leasing office. Now they’re using our amenities and taking up the conference room every day from 9 AM to 5 PM, sometimes until 6 PM. So residents are basically losing access to an amenity because management doesn’t have an actual office space. Make it make sense! I honestly can’t wait to move out of here. Today was the last straw for me. I went to pay my rent at 8:10 AM, and the assistant manager, DeVanae, who was in the office, had the nerve to tell me, “Oh, you have to come back. We don’t open until 9 AM.” All she had to do was take my rent check and give me a receipt for it. That’s literally it. If you’re already in the office, why couldn’t you simply accept the payment and provide me with a receipt? Very weird staff and behavior. At this point, I’m just counting down the days until I can move out. 😩

  I was moving into DC for a particular time and wanted a new building with great amenities, coziness of home, and a great staff. Claret fit it to the t. Alejandro and Mia were amazing. Incredibly helpful with the lease, and all the logistics. I looked at over 45 different options over a week and this was the best one of 'em all. The initial security / welcome desk person was kind and sweet. The place was great, was a perfect living experience. Wish I could have stayed there more. I had lived in DC 10 years ago and wish this place existed then too. Highly recommend for anyone! Well located, safe, secure. great value for all it has to offer!! Especially for Georgetown students.

  We all know looking at apartments in DC is exhausting and just painful. Not at The Claret. My tour with Alejandro was one of the best tours that I've ever had. He didn't keep me waiting, detailed throughout the building tour, prompt with answers and just a pleasure to be around. As for the apartments, they're well designed (storage is amazing), quiet and modern. Meeting building tenants throughout the tour, they all reinforced the lovely and intimate community that Alejandro highlighted. Overall, The Claret is a perfect fit for me!!

  **Great Place to Live!** We recently moved into The Claret and absolutely love our new home. It’s a brand-new building just steps away from excellent restaurants—our favorite being Baan Siam (amazing Thai food!)—as well as public transportation and grocery stores. Our apartment is spacious and filled with natural light. The building is pet-friendly and conveniently located near several green spaces, which our fur baby enjoys every day. We really appreciate that The Claret isn’t a massive, overcrowded complex—it feels comfortable and community-oriented. The management staff is professional, responsive, and accommodating. Omar, in particular, has been outstanding—he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our experience here is top-notch. We’re so happy to call The Claret home!
