  If you believe that your dignity is worth more than a few hundred dollars, stay away! The staff will gaslight you, lie to you, and throw each other under the bus to cover up for their collective incompetence. The people here are so terribly unprofessional that I genuinely worry they will retaliate against me for posting this review. The AC breaks every few weeks like it's on a schedule, there are roaches all over my apartment, and the trash room is consistently overflowing with trash. It seems that all the surrounding building (Slate, Iris, etc.) are all in better shape and are staffed with people who are better at their jobs.

  Live in a neighboring building. Constantly seeing and hearing police being called to your building with disruption all hours of the night. Constantly having EMS there as well multiple times daily (not joking). Plus the people that gather up and down in front of your M St side are Constantly warring with eachother. Screaming, Slurs, and occasionally Stabbings and Shots fired. Get your management of that building together your neighbors are concerned.

  This is my third apartment I have rented in DC. By far the absolute worst. We have lost our AC at least 8-10 times while living here. The hot water has been shut off for “repairs” at least a dozen times. And the elevator repairs are constant and unreliable. Of the 4 elevators in the building, you’ll be lucky to have one working. The building has been “repairing the elevator” for MONTHS. It is extremely mismanaged. People smoke in the building, nobody puts their trash down the trash chutes and instead leave it on the floor. Dogs pee and sh!t in the hallways and it gets thrown down the recycling chute. You’ll definitely find cockroaches in the building. A lot of the balcony’s are distrusting. The police are here all the time. Do. Not. Apply. Look literally anywhere else.

  I toured the building even after reading some of the reviews as the special is right in my budget . Staff in office is new but very politely ; and helpful . Also had answers to all my questions . Was pleasantly suprised by the apartment, it was BEAUTIFUL. And the roof top I can see myself working form there often.
