2800 Woodley is hands-down the best place I've ever lived, and there's no comparison. I loved it so much that I lived here twice, and I wouldn't live anywhere else in DC. Where do I start? There are so many wonderful things about 2800 Woodley. First of all, the individual apartments are so nice: very spacious (even the studios are large), immaculately clean, updated kitchens and amenities, windows with lots of natural light, and large closets (an added bonus: no bugs or pests). The apartments are well-priced and all utilities are included in rent, which is a huge perk.
The neighborhood itself is gorgeous and safe. The Woodley Park metro station on the Red Line is a 3-minute walk down the same street. You're also a short walk away from so many great restaurants, the National Cathedral, and Rock Creek Park.
But one of the best parts about 2800 Woodley is the team that works there. John, Vanisha, Helen, Gerry, Max, and all of the 2800 Woodley team are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. Not only that, but they know the residents personally and truly care about the community, and I always loved talking with them. Additionally, if there was ever an issue in my apartment (which was rare and usually minor), it was addressed immediately and fixed within the same day. You really do not find this level of quality and care anywhere else.
Other perks: secure package room behind the front desk so you never have to worry about packages not being delivered or being stolen, a nice gym (it was built in 2022, so all of the machines are updated and new!), and a rooftop deck with fantastic views of the city.
I loved living at 2800 Woodley and miss it every day. The only negative thing about it is that if you ever move, nothing will ever be as nice and you will instantly miss this community!
