  I've been here for a few years now. What should be a safe home has become an environment filled with suspicious activity, harassment from neighbors, and constant noise. The worst part? Management knows. Complaints have been filed by multiple residents and nothing has changed. We have been ignored and left to feel unsafe in a place we pay good money to call home. I would not recommend this building to anyone until management takes serious, decisive action to protect its tenants. There are people doing hard drugs as in METH in the building or in the back of the building/in front. It is unsafe. Please for you/your childrens sake, do not move here.

  I moved to DC for a job. I stayed at the Pennsylvania House over the summer with a friend while I found a more permanent place to live. The fire alarm would go off all of the time. At some point, the fire alarm was going off a few times a week and in the middle of the night. It was a jarring experience being woken up to the blaring sound and rushing down the stairs trying not to trip over the residents. The other thing that stood out to me about the place is the smell. The elevator had a strong odor. The sink, dishwasher and bathtub had a bad smell like they weren’t fully draining. The place was a disappointment. Find a cleaner place where you can sleep through the night peacefully.

  I lived here for a year and a half and had an incredible experience. The apartments are really spacious and clean. The location cannot be beat you are a 5 minute walk away from anything you need. And the staff in the building are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in the foggy bottom area

  If you are looking for the perfect location (Triangle Foggy Bottom - Georgetown - West End), a cozy, clean and pet friendly space to set your home in D.C., 2424 Penn is the best option. The building is not a new one, but the care that the Management (Andri Jovanov - AJ) provides is top notch. All the team is really kind, and always are willing to do their job with the best attitude. Engineering Team (Felipe and James) is attentive and prettty helpful. Gregory keeps all the areas sparkling clean; and all the Concierge ladies (Dorothy, Fran, Wayaka, Kelia, Staci snd Charlotta), put a personal touch in all the interactions and follow ups to make you feel welcomed.
