  Please save yourself time and headache by avoiding this complex and the others they manage in the area. I toured with John, was interested in applying— only hindrance was my accessibility needs as a wheelchair user. I asked John to get me more info before applying, he agreed and said he’d get back to me. He didn’t, I applied anyways the next day. He called me afterwards, says my application has been approved and we’re good to move forward. John now tells me the rental price has increased by $20 from the day prior, when I applied. He says he made a mistake but cannot honor his original price. I ask again about my access question- he says he’ll ask Barbara (owner) and let me know by day end. He did not. I called the next day several times and was sent to voicemail. I went in person twice and the office door was locked, no one around. I called again after the weekend and still no response. Shortly after I’m emailed a letter that my application has suddenly been denied for an undisclosed reason, although John originally said it was approved. This is a new management company who had possessed the property for 2 weeks at the time of my tour, and I was their first applicant he told me. Clearly, John, a retired police officer, and his company do not honor their word or have respect for patrons of different physical abilities. Avoid at all costs.

  I recently moved into my first apartment at The Flats at Talcott. Nathali was the one who helped me throughout the process and made it as smooth as possible! I love this community so far and how friendly everyone is!! 💗💗

  Nathali helped me with figuring out the living space I needed and gave me the tour of the apartment I am living in now. She is very kind and professional, giving fast responses to questions and attentive to needed assistance during and after the application process. This is my first apartment and I could not be happier with the staff here, Nathali definitely made this move easy and efficient with a warm welcome!

  I rent here and find the staff responsive and personable. Nathali was a great help in answering my questions and leading me to a good apartment. They’re clean, quiet, well maintained, with good neighbors and in an excellent location.

  They refused to turn on the heat for residents as the weather reached under 50 degrees. Don’t rent here, they are inhumane
