  A decent place to live, no doubt. But they'll always find a way not to return full security deposit. Pros: Walkable distance to Grocery stores (Aldi, Sai foods), restaurants (Mexican, Italian, Thai, Chinese and Indian), automobile repair shops (monro, meineke and 3 local shops). CVS, walmart and stop&shop is not too far. Maintenance staff is excellent (all issues will be fixed within 24 hours). Leasing office staff are friendly. Assigned parking (mostly within 30 feet from your home). Quarry park and ferry park are nearby. Right next to I-91 exit 24. Cons: Old and broken property (in our 2 year lease, we had total of 12 leaks in bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator and dishwasher). Outdated appliances (in the second term both the refrigerator and dishwasher were replaced because they are leaking all over the floor; we reported multiple times and staff fixed the leak, but it only resolved after the appliance was replaced). Laundry machines are faulty (it's the same story for CSC machines in all apartment community; but here the leasing/maintenance never gets involved in long-term solution). Very thin ceiling and you can hear the upstairs neighbor whispering into partner's ear (always take the apartment on the top floor; otherwise you will have hard time). During winter, when it gets too cold the heater will stop functioning and the emergency maintenance will try to fix it for days. Car theft and vandalism is running huge in this property. Mold in the bathroom (tub and window) is the biggest concern; because unlike most bathrooms, this community doesn't have exhaust/ventilation fan. I witnessed at least 30 tall trees have been cut down in last 2 years. Renewal rate is outrageous and it will mostly be costlier than signing a new lease (I don't understand the business strategy). Never be the guarantor for an apartment, they'll add you as an roommate instead and there is no way to get out of that for 12 months (even if all the applicant insist to remove the guarantor) and we will be never be informed of this 12 month period. Personal (move-out) experience: I have applied to transfer to bigger (top-floor and renovated) apartment in the same community and because of family medical reasons, I had to move to an apartment with elevator. So I withdrew my transfer application and lease renewal. We used the apartment for 2 years and left it clean (except the impressions created by sofa and coffee table). There were no tear or stain in the carpet, still ~610$ has been deducted from our security deposit. They took the photo of the same place (of the carpet) and said from one angle it looks like a (black) dirtiness and from other angle it looks like abnormal wear. I have attached the same;

  The apartment we live in at Greenfield Village is very cozy and comfortable. All of the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The neighbors are friendly and the pool is nice to go to in the summertime. It's nice to sit in our backyard and watch our garden grow or have a meal outside when the weather is nice. A great place for young professionals, couples, seniors, or people with a small family. Overall, a very pleasant place to call Home!

  Love living here and the location! The grounds are nice with plenty of greenery and sidewalks. The pool is big! Whenever I have a problem , the people in the office and maintenance people are always friendly and helpful. Great place!
