This complex was not originally on my radar during my weekend apartment search. After seeing an advertisement while leaving another property, I decided to call on short notice. Adam answered the phone with complete warmth and enthusiasm. Despite me being parked right outside without an appointment, he invited my family and me inside without a moment's hesitation. Adam took the time to understand my preferences, outlined the amenities, reviewed floor plans, and toured both locations with us. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. After completing my remaining tours, 60 Mansfield was the clear winner. The application process was smooth, and working with Georgia over the following days was an absolute pleasure. She maintained total professionalism and provided invaluable assistance at every step. Corinne, the property manager, has been equally outstanding. She is attentive, welcoming, and remembers the small details that make a resident feel truly valued. The entire team has answered every question, provided constant assurances, and made my first out-of-state move simple and enjoyable. I cannot thank Adam, Georgia, Corinne, and the rest of the staff enough for their exceptional service.   I've lived at 60 Mansfield for over 5 years now, largely because it feels like a community rather than an apartment building. The property manager, Corinne, gets all the credit for this. In addition to being a responsive and efficient manager, she is always friendly and thoughtful. When the path where I walk my dog kept washing out after storms, she made sure it got fixed. She brings that same care to everyday interactions, going out of her way to greet people by name and make them feel welcome at community events and in the hallways. This goes for pets as well as people! My dog thinks Corinne gives the best scratches. It's rare to find a manager who makes a building feel like a community, but that's exactly what Corinne does. I highly recommend 60 Mansfield as a safe, community-oriented place to live in New London, CT.

  **BEWARE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE RELOCATING FOR ELECTRIC BOAT** If you're relocating for an Electric Boat job, I would strongly encourage you to think carefully before leasing here. I applied for an apartment because I had accepted an offer with Electric Boat, and my move to Connecticut depended entirely on that employment. What I wasn't aware of was how long the onboarding process could take. When my start date became uncertain, I contacted the leasing office before taking possession of the apartment, before receiving keys, and before ever moving into the unit to ask about canceling my lease. Despite that, I was told I owed nearly **$7,000** in cancellation fees or I could pay $4,900 if I paid it in a few days - what a bargain right? I carefully reviewed my lease agreement and could not find language clearly stating that such a cancellation fee would apply **before occupancy or before the lease term began**. I never took possession of the unit, never moved in, and never even viewed the apartment. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way I was treated. The property manager was dismissive and unprofessional when I tried to explain my situation instead of working toward a reasonable solution. If your relocation is contingent on an employer's onboarding timeline, make sure you fully understand every potential financial obligation before signing. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I believe prospective tenants should be aware of the risks before committing.

  I've had a great living experience at this complex. The property is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable place to call home. The staff is always friendly, professional, and responsive whenever I have a question or need assistance. They genuinely care about the residents and work hard to keep everything running smoothly. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a welcoming place to live!
