My experience with Springwood Gardens was extremely disappointing. I dealt with ongoing mold and mildew concerns, water-related issues, and poor follow-up from management. My bathroom ceiling caved in twice. The first time it took 4 days to fix and it was a patch job, the second time it was sealed and that’s it no follow through or proper maintenance so in one months time the bathroom was covered in black mold and mildew, even after multiple times of trying to make contact through multiple phone calls and an email. I was ignored and the issues were not handled with the urgency or seriousness they deserved. No tenant should have to repeatedly ask for basic maintenance, especially when mold, mildew, water damage, and unfinished repairs are involved. The lack of communication and failure to properly address the conditions made me feel ignored and left me questioning whether the property was being maintained at an acceptable standard. Security was another major concern. There were building entrances with broken locks, creating an environment where residents could not feel confident that access to the building was properly secured. I also experienced missing Amazon packages, which added to the frustration and concern about safety and accountability on the property. The laundry rooms were another ongoing inconvenience. The machines worked intermittently, making it difficult to rely on an amenity that residents should be able to use consistently. Between the maintenance problems, unreliable laundry facilities, broken building-entry locks, and missing packages, the overall living experience was stressful and unacceptable. I moved out and returned my keys to the leasing office on May 15, 2026. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Springwood Gardens to anyone who expects responsive management, timely repairs, secure building access, dependable amenities, or a clean and properly maintained apartment. If you are considering moving here, inspect everything carefully, take photos and videos before moving in, and make sure every maintenance concern is documented in writing. Unless this is your only option, don’t do it

I don’t even live here. I live in the house next-door to their property, and the Rats are starting to come into my yard and tear it up there is an entire rat colony around the dumpster closest to my property and when I walk to the office, I heard people fighting behind the door and there’s a hose coming out of the sewage and dumping into a storm drain. I have videos of the rats, but Google would not let me post them.

We still have snow in the parking lot from the last storm which was several weeks ago and we have just been hit with a storm today. The plow truck company has done their best job to clean the area with the instructions they were giving by the property manager- however, there is so much snow that it is a serious safety hazard. There is also currently no sand or salt on the grounds- not even in the main areas. I have slipped several times this morning just trying to clean my car. There was no plan put in place for effective removal of snow. My family and I have lived in this apartment complex for over 32 years. In the past, our very competent property management had a very organized pre-planned snow removal schedule mailed out and emailed out days in advance to provide clear instructions and prior notice to all residents. Tenants were given clear instructions on what time they were expected to move their car, depending on which building they lived in. In a very systematic approach, tenants in each building would move their car and then the plow truck company would plow the entire area of the lot. Then the tenants would park their cars normally and the plow truck would move onto the next scheduled area. Tenants were told that if they did not move their car by that scheduled time, they would be fined. This was a very effective, organized approach with clear instructions. Now, over twenty years later, I am left disappointed and worried for the safety of myself and my parents, who are much older and cannot survive falls. I am worried for other tenants, too, who have expressed similar concerns. I asked Rosa the current property manager to have the snow removed more effectively than the last time, and to have salt and dirt sprinkled. This is a preventable safety concern and I was hoping it would be treated accordingly. Her response was cold, unhelpful, and it did not address all my concerns. We have had similar responses due to other severe maintenance issues. We are a family that really does not try to create any trouble- but the management seems to be taking advantage of this.
