    The community is kind and friendly, as well as the office staff but the property is not worth the money we pay. The parking is often packed especially with having to pay extra for a parking pass not only for you but for guest. Work trucks take up a lot of the parking spaces and not allowed to park in the empty field because they will tow your car. Had to pay extra for a garage just to use as a storage space because there’s no storage in the house. Appliances break constantly and maintenance takes way to long to come fix anything. We have to contact the office to get a rush on things. Not only do they take forever but they would rather replace them with old used appliances that are just as bad if not worse from another apartment and would rather pay hundreds of dollars for a repair man to try and fix it (still doesn’t work properly) than to replace it because “it’s fixed”. Been told they will contact us with a replacement but still haven’t heard from them even after trying to email them for an update. As well as the power going out at least a couple times a week and the temperature is not even throughout the house. Paying $3200-$3300 a month for a 3 bedroom is way to much for an apartment that doesn’t have smooth working home in my opinion. I appreciate the office patience and kind tone with us but it doesn’t excuse the fact of being put on the back burner.

    Elie Henry has been a fantastic leasing manager. He listens to residents’ concerns and takes action right away, especially when it comes to enforcing the lease agreement and parking rules. He truly cares about the community and its residents, and it shows. We really appreciate his dedication and professionalism.

    I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Avila Eastlake, largely due to the property manager, Elie Henry. Once a demand notice is issued, he refuses to accept payment—even when you’re actively trying to resolve the balance. Instead of working with residents in good faith, the approach feels rigid and punitive. Communication is poor, professionalism is lacking, and there’s zero effort to find reasonable solutions. This is not how tenants should be treated, especially when they’re attempting to pay and comply. The overall management style comes across as dismissive and unnecessarily hostile. If you’re considering living here, be aware that flexibility and fairness are not priorities. Based on my experience, this has been one of the worst-managed properties I’ve dealt with.

    Be prepared to pay for parking when you visit family and friends at this property. They also jack up the parking price on the weekends!!
