  I was one of the first residents to move into this complex two years ago. My initial experience was excellent. However, since that time there have been numerous instances and disturbing ones that have occurred here, including my downstairs neighbor two weeks ago who poured gasoline over his entire apartment and was either attempting suicide or attempting to burn my apartment building down. He was subsequently arrested and faces five arson charges. However, he is out on bail now, and due to the fair housing act, he has rights in the eviction process, which I understand, however, when someone has committed an felony act of arson that could’ve killed multiple people, you would think that the ownership at Thompson thrift would take our concerns seriously. They have not. I am contacting the district attorney trying to get a restraining order and I will do whatever it takes to protect my daughter and my neighbors. Thompson thrift is building a new complex across the street. I will do everything in my power to make sure that it’s publicly known Thompson thrift does not care about its tenants whatsoever. I would not recommend renting an apartment from them ever. Since I posted this review yesterday, I did receive a call back from Thompson Thrift Chief Legal Council, Scott Murray and he was helpful and reassured me that the former tenant would continue to be barred from the premises. Additionally, I received a call from the Regional Manager and she expressed that the former tenant will be allowed to retrieve his belongings via a police escort but thereafter he is prohibited from ever returning I appreciate that the proper attention was applied to this matter. It was a harrowing experience and I wish the front office management would have responded with more concern prior to me and my neighbors had to escalate it.

  While living here for 17 months, most staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Except for one named Sherry. She is incredibly rude and snarky, when all I asked for is help for maintenance. I do not appreciate the disrespectful behavior.

  TAYLOR and Amanda are truly some of the best leasing agents I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment I moved into the apartment complex, they have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure residents feel welcomed, supported, and valued. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and positive attitudes set them apart, and they always take the time to address concerns with genuine care and understanding. It’s clear that they take great pride in their work and are committed to creating a positive living experience for everyone in the community. What stands out most about TAYLOR and Amanda is how deeply they care about the people who live here. They treat residents with kindness, respect, and compassion, making everyone feel like more than just a tenant. Whether helping resolve an issue, answering questions, or simply checking in to see how things are going, they consistently show a level of dedication that is rare to find. Their efforts have made a meaningful difference in my experience living here, and I know many others in the complex feel the same way. They are a tremendous asset to the community and deserve recognition for all that they do.
