  ​This is a wonderful community to live in. The office staff and maintenance crew are always friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive, and the overall amenities are great. ​The only reason I am taking off one star is due to a recurring issue with the pool area. Multiple evenings a week, a very large group of teenagers regularly misuses/occupies the hot tub, often staying well past closing hours. While security is dispatched frequently, it hasn’t been enough of a deterrent to stop them from coming back. If management can find a permanent solution to this, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

  2Bed 2Bath 2 Adults 0 kids: Pros: Amazing staff. Olivia was so incredibly kind and helpful and made our cross country move so much easier than it would have been without her. Austin and Andrea are always kind. Juan and the rest of the maintenance crew are so good at their jobs. *They should all get raises* They keep the property beautifully landscaped and clean. Superficially pretty apartment. Granite countertops. Stacked front facing washer dryer. Amazing walk in closet. The trash service gets a lot of flack and does make the 2nd/3rd floor landings super gross but honestly amazing to not have to haul our own garbage. It probably reduces waste because you can't get rid of large items. Well lit apartments. The clubhouse is pretty and the pool / hot tub area is gorgeous. Decent 24hr workout room w yoga studio. Beer on tap. Great walking trails. Access to downtown Louisville Main Street is fantastic. Definitely plan to stay for a couple of years. Cons: Every review mentions the noise and they are not exaggerating. You can hear everything and I know that goes both ways for neighbors which is utterly mortifying. The train is not only extremely loud, it will shake the building. The sign by the tracks claims it is silent but the horn blasts, sometimes in the middle of the night. Ear plugs are a must. Our Trek bike was stolen from the bike rack in the garage- the titanium lock was cut. Update***management resolved the issue of excessive nonresident pool use which is simply amazing. Highly appreciative of management here! The California ownership makes me worried about annual rent and fee increases. The cabinetry is cheap. TBH, I think the thin walls / cheap carpentry / excessive fees are probably applicable to any newer PE owned complex and not specific to steel ranch. Overall I really like it here and I think most of the cons are applicable to all mass produced new complexes. If you’re not noise sensitive I would recommend.

  Really have enjoyed living here over the past few years. The team in the office is awesome and always super helpful. Shoutout to the maintenance team they rock!

  Renter Beware. This place has made a really big jump in rent in a relatively short time.
