Seems decent at first. Lived there 4 years. Dealt with mouse infestation which I assume was brought on from unsanitary neighbors. It took years of complaints (from multiple parties) and finally the nasty neighbors bringing roaches to building 485 for them to even respond beyond a quick pest control stop. I could smell the funk from the neighbor’s apartment as soon as I opened my door to outside—they lived next door to the apartment below me. Luckily I was able to move out a few months after the roaches arrived. There was no way to get rid of the roaches without removing the neighbors—aka the source. Multiple inspections & ‘cleanups’ were performed over a couple years but the problem was never solved. Realizing I was on month-to-month terms was one of the best living situations of my life. I was out 2 weeks later. Walking outside to fresh air is such a beautiful privilege—which shouldn’t be a privilege.
Upon leaving I was charged well beyond my security deposit mostly for painting and cleaning. I’m sure the painting was due to normal wear & tear which is unlawful to charge for without evidence. The cleaning I’d guess was due to the mouse excrement they neglected to provide meaningful help for? Also unlawful to charge for without evidence. Not sure why they’d charge me since every apartment they flipped got new flooring & appliances. Bet they pained no matter what, as well.
I went to talk to the property manager, Rudy, who could not produce any details of their charges. He also claimed he’d send pictures detailing the charges but has not after almost 2 weeks (yes I checked my spam folder every day). Wondering if such delays are a ploy to derail any legal response since my case was sent to ‘collections’ already 😮💨
I should seek legal help to fight this BS but I don’t have the capacity. Moving to this place is asking for one problem or another. Many of my fellow former tenants would agree, depending on how long their terrible tenure lasted.
Don’t move here. You can finagle cardboard boxes to make a better home than this dump. I begged them to have a working treadmill/elliptical/bike in their “gym” for 3 years before anything got replaced. How can you claim to have a gym with zero functioning cardio equipment?
Ashamed I spent so many years of my life in such a prison. Not just me, but everyone,
deserves to live a better life than what this place offers.

I enjoyed parts of living there, but overall they did not complete maintenance work for long term fixes, and then they have completely withheld my security deposit after I moved out and avoided contact with me.

5/5 Stars – Highly Recommend!
I had a wonderful experience leasing my new apartment at Mountain Vista, and it is all thanks to Alexandra! As the assistant property manager, she went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, stress-free, and incredibly welcoming.
Alexandra is professional, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the residents. She took the time to answer all of my questions, kept me updated every step of the way, and made sure everything was perfect for my move-in, including leaving me a laundry basket with soaps, sponges and various things that you need when you first move in. Gift basket was a very nice touch.
If you are looking for a great place to live with a management team that actually cares, look no further than Mountain Vista. Make sure to ask for Alexandra—she is absolutely amazing!

So right now, my base rent is $1327. I have lived here since April 2018. I understand Covid and inflation. But right now you guys are offering for a one bedroom apartment on the Internet base rent for $1055 to $1150 . And for a two bedroom, you guys are offering a base rent for $1224.00. I live in a one bedroom. Now I love the location and I love where I live, but I’m gonna need some financial relief on my next lease signing because I have lived here for over eight years. I’ve been late twice on my rent, but I’ve made that right so I don’t see why my rent should go up at all. I would appreciate it if it would go down. But other than that, it’s a great community. I love living here and thank you for asking.
