  10/10 Experience I wanted to share my experience after living at Sylvan Uptown for nearly a year. My best friend and I moved here last October while searching for an apartment that fit our active lifestyle. We wanted a location where we could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and entertainment while still having a safe and quiet place to call home. Sylvan Uptown has exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartments are spacious, modern, and offer great value for the price. The amenities are excellent, especially the fitness center and Peloton equipment, which we use regularly. One of the things I appreciate most is the community itself. The property is quiet, well maintained, and the residents are friendly and respectful. The management team is attentive and responsive. Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request or had a concern, it has been addressed quickly, often by the very next day. That level of service is something I did not experience at previous apartment communities. The parking garage has also been great. There is extensive security and surveillance throughout the building and garage, which gives me peace of mind. There have been periods where I barely used my car because I could walk to work, and I have never had any issues. Overall, I feel very comfortable and safe living here. I fully intend to renew my lease and look forward to continuing to call Sylvan Uptown home. Thank you to the entire team for making this my favorite apartment community I have lived in so far. Jeremy, the leasing agent, deserves a big shoutout! He’s incredibly awesome and very responsive.

  I've lived at the Sylvan for four months now and, overall, my experience has been great. Jeremy, the resident liaison, does a great job of communicating with folks about any work being done to the building, or service impacts, well in advance of them happening, and is quick and responsive to questions. Mike, the building maintenance manager, keeps the day to day operations moving seamlessly and is quick to respond if something breaks in your unit. The only reason I give 4-stars instead of 5-stars is because of the rent portal the management company forces you to use. The portal - Bilt - seems designed to make it as confusing as possible to pay rent: there are no clear deadlines for when payment is due, any credit on your account is listed on the same line as your monthly rent (making it difficult to tell how much credit you actually have), and there is no option to pay via check (you can pay with a credit card, for a fee, or direct deposit without the fee). Bilt also seems more focused on getting you to buy tickets to miscellaneous events around town (comedy shows, yoga classes, etc.) through their platform than it does on making paying your rent simple. Aside from that, this building has been great - quiet neighbors, clean common areas, and friendly staff - and I'd recommend it to anyone looking in the downtown area!
