  This is a during Covid times review. I've been traveling a decent amount last several months. Stayed at the St James Jan 2021. The room itself was very nice and well equipped. The rooms in the 2 bedrooms are on opposite ends which I loved. There were several things I didn't love about this place. Due to covid housekeeping doesnt come during your stay. When you call down for things depending on who you get at the front desk they may or may not replenish something. When you're spending this kind of money you wouldn't think you need to beg for a $1 cheap roll of toilet paper (they don't use the soft stuff) or washing machine detergent. The hotel did not feel luxurious at all nor did the mediocre service. They made me feel like it was such an inconvenience or like i was doing something when I called down that I ended up washing my own towels during the stay ! Not something I wanted to do on vacation. Ammenities wise the only thing there is the pool and hot tub which you have to reserve a head of time and you only get 15 min increments for use of the indoor and outdoor hot tub. I stayed in other hotels and there wasn't such a strict reservation system (just capacity limits). This made it not at all relaxing to use an a real pain. I actually had another stay here planned and cancelled after the experience. Maybe after covid it will get better but for right now I wouldn't waste my money here.
