I just moved in and when I came to see the apartment before renting it, I noticed there were several issues. I asked if everything would be repaired if I decided to rent it, and I was told yes and not to worry about it. Later, the girl who was helping me transferred me to I think her manager or someone else, and she never seemed interested in helping us. I explained that the apartment was in bad condition and she said there was nothing she could do.
Regarding the electricity, they scheduled my moving date for a Saturday, but they did not send me the apartment contract in advance so I could transfer the electricity account. They only sent it to me on Friday, and the move-in date was Saturday. Obviously, during the weekend the electricity company would not process the transfer. Clearly this happened because of their inconsistencies. They even left me a message saying they could not send the contract earlier because their system was having issues.
Now they want to charge me extra for activating the electricity late, even though it was their fault. The only thing they repaired was the door handle.
Never fixes maintenance requests, but submits them as done and sends you a survey asking how they did fixing the problem. Then the manager will reach out apologizing when you give them a poor rating on the survey and will submit another maintenance request on your behalf which won’t get done again.

We’ve been living on this property for 8 months and it’s been a rough experience so far. One of the main reasons we chose this building was because of their “smoke free” policy through out the community but every single day and night we are overwhelmed by the smell of cigarettes coming into our unit to the point where we can not have our windows open anymore and enjoy our living space/bedroom. Our neighbor downstairs, are very inconsiderate of the fact that the smell travels up to our unit. Also, they’re consistently spray painting out on their patio without consideration that this affects everyone who lives above them. Smoke travels up, smells travel up, it’s not rocket science. Mentioned this to management multiple times and did not get an initial response until my wife left a 1 star review. Fred from the management team reached out and promised us this issue was going to stop and it was going to get taken care of and even asked us to please take down our review which we did not. He asked us to email him to keep track of every time it happened so he could reach out to them and even assured us that the “attorneys” were involved now. Keep in mind, we put the first complain in around December. Fast forward to today, the issue has not been taken care of and we have been trying to get ahold of Fred and come to find out that he is no longer working here and we’ve reached out to the entire management office and not one person has responded. Ever since this place switched to a different property management company it’s been completely downhill. Property is also extremely dirty on a daily basis, elevators are filthy, walk ways are filthy, trash is always piled up for days at a time by the entrance to the hallways and no action is ever taken by anyone. The only good thing this place has is their maintenance guy, Jonathan. He’s always been extremely helpful and quick with anything we’ve ever needed and just overall a professional and friendly guy. Do not be fooled by the good reviews by someone who’s “touring” the property and not actually living here. Trust me when I say it’s bad. The photos I’ve attached don’t do justice when I say, it’s bad.
