  I previously lived here in the early 2010s and again in the mid-late 2010s. I was just apartment hunting again and was originally going to go somewhere in central WeHo or above Sunset for some peace and quiet, but ultimately I came back here because of the landlord, ES Ring. Of the major LA area landlords ES Ring is the best to work with - fair, accommodating, and great amenities at their properties. I can testify to this as a former property manager with over a decade of experience, both managing dozens of building buildings as part of a portfolio and as an on-site. The cool thing about Med Village WH is that it has the amenities of many of the nicer, newer buildings which (i.e., the Avalon Bay communities in east Weho or Hollywood) but it is protected under the strict West Hollywood rent control laws. So if you like it here, you can actually afford to stay here and won't be "rug pulled" by 10% rent increases or more every year. The amenities includes a nice clean fitness center, 7 day a week on site management and maintenance, security and a guard every night that patrols, common areas with seating, a well maintained pool and koi pond, landscaped gardens and trees which is an ES Ring specialty. While there is no in-unit laundry, they do have 12 washers and 12 dryers which use an app, are relatively clean and maintained. ES Ring also takes better care of their buildings and treats tenants better than their other immediate WeHo West competitor, a company that starts with a D and owns a number of "Villas" (those buildings are also not rent controlled) There are factors that could make living here unpleasant but not the fault of ES Ring. For example, it is in the heart of WeHo steps away from the bars and there is some noise associated with that. As with any property you are at the mercy of your neighbors and if you have upstairs stompers that can be a problem. But this applies anywhere and is not unique to Med Village. All in all, despite its super busy location and the 163 units, it is a quiet property. Currently the staff Serenity and Giselle have been great and accommodating. I highly recommend them and commend them for the difficult job they do - which I know having done similar work myself. Most of the staff they've had over the years have gone above and beyond, including Tamara/Lewis and Mario/Alberto from the old days, Rebecca/Eron. The PM Tania was also a pleasure to work with. If you want relative peace and quiet, comforts, safety, high end amenities, and rent control in the heart of WeHo look no further.

  I just moved in. Honestly the best apartment complex I've ever been in. Place is older but that's just how West Hollywood is. They pay for all your utilities included. Rent is pretty affordable and the staff are amazing and kind and nice beyond belief.

  I’ve lived in Mediterranean Village since 2019 and I’ve never taken the time to review because, as residents, we take it for granted but hats off to all of them. They are all welcoming, fast in resolving issues with maintenance or others, they keep the gardens, property, gym, washers and dryers clean and keep us in the loop with what’s going on with the buildings. Much Appreciation to the staff !

  Gerardo has been absolutely incredible throughout my apartment application process. I am currently moving across the country for a new job, and he has gone above and beyond to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Since I was unable to tour the unit in person, he took the time to send me additional photos and answer all of my questions. He has been incredibly responsive, patient, and kind every step of the way. Outstanding customer service is hard to find!
