  As foreigners, finding an apartment in the U.S. felt incredibly overwhelming. We weren't familiar with the rental process, and we didn't even have Social Security numbers. We contacted several apartment communities, but Noma Apartments was the only one that responded and truly welcomed us. Looking back, it felt like we were incredibly lucky to find this place. From the very beginning, Alexis and Christina went above and beyond to help us. They were always kind, quick to respond, and willing to answer every question we had. Whenever we had an issue, they took care of it right away. Moving to a new country can be stressful, but thanks to them, our first year in the U.S. was much easier and more comfortable. One of our favorite things about living at Noma was the amazing amenities. The pool and fitness center were fantastic, and we loved spending evenings having BBQ on the 7th-floor terrace while watching the beautiful Walnut Creek sunset and city lights. In the mornings, we could even enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Diablo. One small thing we'll never forget is the complimentary sparkling water in the clubhouse—it was such a thoughtful touch that made us smile every time. The location is another huge advantage. Having Target right across the street, BART within walking distance, and downtown Walnut Creek just a short stroll away made everyday life so convenient. We also loved having assigned parking because we always knew our space would be waiting for us. The monthly resident events were another wonderful bonus that made the community feel welcoming and connected. If someone asked me what the best part of our year living in the U.S. was, I would honestly say living at Noma Apartments. We made so many wonderful memories here, surrounded by a beautiful community, caring staff, and great neighbors. If you're looking for an apartment in Walnut Creek, I wholeheartedly recommend Noma Apartments. We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home. If you've ever looked at the Google reviews I've written before, you'll probably notice that I usually keep them short and simple. But this review was different. I wrote it from the bottom of my heart because Noma meant so much to our family. It truly was the best apartment in Walnut Creek, and it will always be a place we'll never forget.

  Please don’t expect to get any of your deposit move out, actually expect to pay more. This was my apartment on move out. See photos below. I worked as a house keeper prior to becoming a nurse so I left the place spotless. They actually charge 220 dollars for cleaning fee no matter how clean so don’t bother making sure the place is clean, a separate charge for carpet cleaning, and another separate charge to paint. I lived here for 3 months for work which made for a short commute. The staff were nice and they did host events on property. Another one of the downsides is that the fire alarm goes off often causing you to have to leave the building. I would not recommend this for a short term lease because you will be charged as if you lived there for long term.

  NoMa is a perfect place to live. First, its location is extremely convenient, with easy access to commuting and public transportation. Everything you need for daily life is readily available, from shopping to dining. I've lived here for over two years and have been very satisfied. Besides the excellent facilities of the apartment itself, the NoMa team's service is truly outstanding. Christina and Alexis are both very helpful and attentive, efficient, and always willing to assist with any issues; they feel like good friends. The estate also offers many community activities to foster neighborly friendships, a truly heartwarming arrangement. I've lived in several apartments in Walnut Creek , and NoMa is the best, all thanks to this team.

  This review is long overdue. I have had an exceptional experience living at NoMa, and a huge part of that is because of Alexis and Cristina. Great management truly makes all the difference, and they are the best property managers I have encountered while renting. The building is incredibly well maintained, and any questions or maintenance requests are addressed promptly and professionally. Alexis and Cristina are friendly, responsive, and genuinely care about the residents. Their dedication creates a welcoming community and makes living here stress-free. I have actually moved from other apartments in Walnut Creek because of poor management, so I know firsthand how important a strong management team is. Alexis and Cristina are a major reason why I continue to live at NoMa. I highly recommend NoMa to anyone looking for a well-managed, well-maintained place to call home.

  We were going to stay 6 months, ended up 2.5 years!!! The staff is amazing. Christina and Alexis were so helpful, and they make you feel like you are truly home. It is a great community of people. We made many friends. We only left because we needed a yard for our son; otherwise, I would have happily stayed longer. The facilities were always clean and updated. I honestly have nothing negative to say. Also, my sister still lives there, so we can visit everyone. GO NOMA!
