  My husband and I LOVE living at Castlewood apartments in Walnut Creek! We are in downtown Walnut Creek but feel like we are living in a treehouse! Tania, the manager is so professional, welcoming, and on top of anything in the apartments that needs attention! The grounds are serene, peaceful and beautifully maintained! We have lived in apartments all over the Bay Area for the last 40 years, and this is by far our favorite!!!!

  I don’t even know where to begin… My experience living at the Castlewood was amazing! At the time of my move in, Kristy was the one who gave me the tour, did my paperwork, and then her and Tania welcomed me into my new home. Move in process was smooth and there’s no hidden fees, everything was straightforward. Throughout my stay, the maintenance and Tania were great, responded in a timely manner. Tania definitely goes above and beyond for the residents and the property! I’ve read reviews about break ins, can’t speak for everyone but it is a known fact that anywhere in the Bay Area you do NOT leave anything in your vehicles, keep your homes/apartments locked, have cameras etc… I personally felt safe and haven’t seen any suspicious activities during my time at the Castlewood! I’ve also met people who have been living here for 10+ years, that says a lot as well… Last but not least, the complex is beautiful, literally looks and feels like a resort, location is amazing, it’s surrounded by nature, iron horse trail/library/park are right there, close to downtown, stores, restaurants, shops and all the good stuff…. Castlewood, something to consider: the ground floor balconies get all the leaves/dust from the gardener’s leaf blower, would be nice to have a barrier or something preventing it 😉 This being said, thank you Tania & Castlewood for having me and I hope our paths cross again in the future 🖤 🤗

  Don’t even book a tour. Booked a confirmed 9:00 am tour. Office hours say they open at 8:30, I received an email confirmation and a calendar invite, so I figured everything was set. I arrived on time and waited until 9:30, but no one from the leasing office showed up. The maintenance staff were so kind and invited me inside instead of standing in the cold. Eventually, I was told it would still be another 30 minutes before someone could arrive. If your leasing office isn’t actually open until after 10:00, just say so…

  I’ve been living at Castlewood for a while now, and the new property manager, Tania, has made a huge difference. She’s professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents here. Anytime I’ve had a question or concern, she’s handled it quickly and with a positive attitude. The staff who handle maintenance and cleaning are always on top of things, friendly, and keep the community looking great. Castlewood has been a great place to live, and with this new management team, it’s only getting better. Highly recommend!

  Been living in Castlewoods for three years. Love this place. Professional management team, relatively nice and respectful neighbors, well-maintained with beautiful views in a great neighborhood close to downtown.
