  We moved into Sofi Shadowridge over a year ago, and we're really happy with the location. Biliana was very helpful in assisting us to find our new home, and although it took some time to get used to the new environment and some changes, Elizabeth from the maintenance team has been incredibly helpful and quick to address any issues around our apartment. We truly appreciate the effective communication and responsiveness from both the front office and the maintenance team. The only reason I would rate this a 4 out of 5 is because of a concern regarding smoking within the complex. The lease states that smoking is not allowed throughout the property, but unfortunately, it still occurs—particularly in the back garage areas near the carports, where there's a lot of dry vegetation. Sometimes people are smoking cigarettes, and other times it's marijuana. I often have to close my windows because I have small children, and I don't particularly enjoy the smell inside my home. Despite some complaints, nothing has been done to address this issue.

  Warning to anyone considering moving into Prominence Apartments. I am writing this review to help future residents understand the problems that are never explained before you sign your lease. Everything I mention is supported by photos that I have attached. 1. The kitchen ventilation system is poorly designed. The range hood does not vent outside. Instead, it recirculates smoke, cooking odors, and grease back into the apartment. This is especially frustrating for families with small children. 2. The parking situation is one of the worst I have experienced. People regularly park in assigned spaces, including mine. I have experienced this approximately eight times. Management’s typical response is simply placing a notice on the vehicle instead of taking effective action. The problem repeats over and over because there are no meaningful consequences. 3. Be extremely careful during the leasing process. If staff encourage you to complete the application in the office or purchase renter’s insurance through them, carefully review every document before signing. In my case, I expected a 12-month lease, but the final paperwork reflected a 15-month lease. 4. The apartments contain old appliances that frequently break down. Maintenance repairs them temporarily, but they continue to fail instead of being replaced. 5. Another serious concern is the design of the stairways leading to the second-floor apartments. The stairs are unusually steep, creating a potential fall hazard, especially for families with young children, elderly residents, and anyone with mobility challenges. I believe this is a serious safety concern that deserves immediate attention before someone is seriously injured. 6. My experience with the on-site manager, Mr. Torres, has been very disappointing. I do not feel that he takes residents’ concerns seriously or follows through on resolving issues. Instead of taking responsibility and finding solutions, I often felt my concerns were dismissed or avoided. In my experience, his communication and professionalism have not met the standard I would expect from a property manager. Based on conversations I have had with other residents, I am not the only person who has had this experience. Unfortunately, I have contacted management multiple times, but my concerns have not been properly addressed. My hope is that the company’s senior management reviews these issues and improves the experience for current and future residents.

  oven broken since May - office/staff bringing up “Ordering a part” (for said oven) basically refuses to replace it..staff just stare into your apartment windows- so much so every 1st floor unit tends to have bamboo patio covers to block views from porch.

  I chose Sofi Shadowridge 8 years ago and have stayed because it was a very good decision. There's a real sense of community here. Biliana in the office does an excellent job and promptly answers any questions and helps with scheduling any needed maintenance issues. The maintenance crew, particularly Terry and Elizabeth, handle everything with professionalism and care. I have recommended Sofi Shadowridge to friends and will continue to do so.
