  PURE EXTORTION – Avoid Millcreek Management at All Costs! Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Do not, under any circumstances, trust your money or your housing to Millcreek Management in Visalia. They are not a management company; they are a sophisticated operation of thieves specialized in legalizing the theft of security deposits. I left my unit in excellent condition, yet they had the audacity to cannibalize $1,500 of my $2,400 deposit for "frivolous" is an understatement. They produced a laundry list of fraudulent, inflated charges backed by what appear to be complete fiction receipts. They charged me hundreds of dollars for "external cobweb cleaning" (since when is the outdoor ecosystem the tenant’s financial responsibility?) and professional carpet cleaning despite the floors being spotless. Worst of all, they charged me for "paint touch-ups" and—I am not kidding—a paper towel roll holder. To charge a tenant over a thousand dollars for basic wear-and-tear and a five-dollar plastic fixture is predatory and unethical. They rely on the hope that you won’t have the time to fight them in court. If you rent from them, consider your security deposit a "gift" to their bottom line, because you will never see it again. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and operate with zero integrity. Save yourself the headache and the heartbreak: STAY AWAY. I will be seeing them in small claims court.

  Customer service was nonexistent when I called and spoke with the person answering the phone at 1:30 this afternoon. I was inquiring about getting a long‑term corporate rental, and let me tell you, it definitely won’t be through this company. @Millcreek, let me be clear: I wasn’t even able to get far enough to explain my inquiry because the customer service I received was terrible from the moment I said “hello.” So yes, I am reviewing the correct company. Please do better. Platinum‑level customer service is essential, especially in this day and age.

  I live in maplewood apartments the management doesn't care about this place AT ALL the staff is dismissive and rude. I have lived here 10 years and the staff has had the same attitude the entire time do not let the responder of these posts sway you to believe anything different. The maintenance never comes out and when they do they do less than the bare minimum. The amenities that we are supposedly paying for I.e. the pool which is completely green and the on site laundry is not functional and there is homeless living in the laundry room. The electrical in these apartments is beyond concerning and will most likely lead to more fires. This place needs to be condemmed it is a complete slum and so incredibly unsafe. The management is WELL aware of all of these things and does not care. I would not reccomend anyone to rent from this property management ...ever. Update 7/21/21 Love the update of the response to sound more professional after posting information suggesting you had looked into my personal info. then going as far as mentioning it in the original response (which I'm sure the edit will be denied) In response to your original response to me, of course I would not use my real name so you could harass me further and try to find more personal information to air on the internet. We have had people come out after months of calling and said "there's nothing we can do to fix it" or they do a temporary fix and it just goes back to the same unresolved issue. This has happened with the dishwasher, stove and the electrical as well as a few other external issues on the property. I've learned after going back and forth with your management that my best option is to handle things on my own. I hope moving forward your property management can take responsibility for how issues are handled and the complex is maintained rather than responding with hostility and a horribly dismissive attitude.
