  The rooms are surprisingly nice. The biggest thing they lack is white bed spreads which I always prefer. Parking is $15 per night but there is ample, free street parking right outside the hotel. Some rooms face the exterior directly which may not feel as safe as the rooms that are interior. It’s a nice, safe neighborhood but like everywhere in LA there is a noticeable unhoused population that you’ll see around the hotel. The unhoused are no more likely to commit crimes than those who are housed but for someone coming from a place where there is no homelessness may find it uncomfortable to be around. There is no elevator so if you need an accessible room you’ll probably need to be on the first floor in one of the exterior rooms. There was one noisy room our first two nights but I could only hear them from the hallway, not inside our room. Staff was friendly and helpful and were responsive anytime we needed something. No on-site laundry.

  EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF AT HOTEL. Stayed for two days. Neighborhood was sketchy at first look. 2ND NIGHT person making a lot of weird noises, and knocking on doors from 12:00am - 4:00am. Very disturbing YELLING and TRYING TO OPEN DOORS on the first floor. Scared and could not sleep for the rest of the night worried he might break in to my room. Spoke to other guests the next morning and they also confirmed the weird disturbances. At the front desk when checking out, mentioned to STAFF AND SHE SAID WE SHOULD HAVE CALLED 911. She said they have security and we should have called security then pointed to small paper posted at her desk area. HELLO… that emergency number should be posted in every room. Who is going to venture outside their room in that situation and try to look for help outside of their room. I DARE NOT OPEN MY DOOR AND BRING ATTENTION TO MY ROOM SO THE DISTURBED PERSON can come rushing to my room. I asked if they can review their security cameras and she said she did not have time yet. Called Orbitz and asked them to refund my stay at the hotel. Orbitz was only able to offer me a $50 credit, and said the hotel will not refund or issue partial refund for BAD EXPERIENCE. Unsafe property!!

  Do NOT book with this disgusting place they call an establishment! My sister and her friend almost got broken into here. How disgusting of them to let random people inside their hotel without checking. My sister and her friend told the front desk lady about their experience (a man trying to break down their door and even covering their peephole with powder) and all the lady at the front desk said was she’ll check the cameras and when they got down to check too, she was just watching Netflix. How unprofessional. How could you work in a people-facing job and refuse to accommodate and keep your own guests safe? Words can’t even describe how livid I am. DO NOT BOOK HERE.
