In September of 2025 my wife and I decided to rent out our first home in Modesto, CA to begin our real estate investment portfolio. Renting the property made more sense than selling. Having never been a landlord, we were apprehensive about the process and what renting entails. My wife and I have extremely busy work schedules, and managing a property is the last thing we honestly want to do (or have time to do). Fortunately, PMI Central Valley helped us simplify the rental process. We know the owners personally and feel very comfortable working with them and their team. We had a challenging tenant for the first month or two, but PMI was able to help us navigate the issues quickly. I try to be hands-off as much as possible, but PMI does a great job of letting me know the status of my property, which makes me feel cared for. It is important to us that the tenant has a good home to live in, but also that my financial interests and responsibilities for the property are being considered as well, and PMI does a good job managing both sides of the equation. As a landlord, I really appreciate the client portal and the level of detail PMI Central Valley provides. If I need to call someone, I can reach someone fairly quickly. The communication and property status updates provide peace of mind, so I can focus my time on running my company and serving clients. If my wife and I grow our real estate portfolio further, we will definitely be using PMI to help us manage the properties. I really like the system they have put in place. I have already referred a few other people to PMI and have heard nothing but positive remarks. If you are thinking of hiring a property manager, the owners are great people, and their team is a joy to work with. -Mike Kelly

I highly recommend PMI Central Valley. It’s become very apparent to me that the team here knows their area, understands the needs of their clients, and will work hard to make sure things happen the right way. I really had no idea what I was doing going into this situation, but their expertise has given me a ton of confidence and I’m super stoked that they’ve got my back. I wouldn’t hesitate to enlist their help!
