  I cannot recommend Spring Lake Apartments based on my experience.i lived there 5 years. When I first moved in, I really liked the property and the previous property manager. Unfortunately, after the new manager took over about two years ago, things changed significantly. In my opinion, she lacked the experience and responsiveness needed to effectively manage an apartment community. Based on an email sent when she was hired, she was new to property management, and throughout my tenancy I felt she had very little understanding of tenants’ rights. Emails routinely went unanswered, and communication was extremely poor. In December, contractors were given keys to the apartments and entered my unit without authorization, leaving my front door unlocked for the entire day. When I went to the office, understandably upset, I was offered a Starbucks gift card and a sincere apology. I never received the gift card, which unfortunately reflected the ongoing lack of follow-through I experienced throughout my tenancy. After that incident, I no longer felt safe in my own home. I have emails documenting everything that occurred. Maintenance issues were not handled properly. We had a rat problem that caused damage, a tree fell and knocked down the fence and wasn’t addressed for weeks, and garbage was often left piled outside my wall. The pool was rarely clean and was never heated during the summer despite repeated promises. Rent increased by the maximum allowable amount each year, except once they only raised it $50, but the level of service certainly didn’t improve. My security deposit was also returned eight days late, and I had to send a formal demand letter before receiving the full amount. The walking path and the park across the street are wonderful, but good management matters. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not recommend renting here.

  My husband and I and our son moved here about 5 months ago. We’ve been living in big cities and Santa Rosa in general and this apartment is exactly the suburban living we’ve been needing! I love our apartment so much!! We are in a 2 bed 2 bath townhouse and we couldn’t be happier. It’s completely updated which I love. My favorite part is the kitchen as I love to cook. The backyard has been an added bonus as our son and our dog love being out there. I love being across the street from the park and all the nature trails. I also love how close we are to our son’s school and the neighborhood is amazing for walks and just so calming when you want fresh air. We haven’t been able to trick or treat in an actual neighborhood in years and last year (24’) being here and being so close to other neighborhoods made it so fun for us. I just love it and truly never want to move ever again. We’ve definitely found our new forever city!

  I am a current resident at Spring Lake Apartments. I have been here for 2 years. This year the complex got a new manager and she has been absolutely terrible. Every single time you call the office it goes to voicemail , even though they’re open … they just put in new washers & dryers yet for over a month the dryers did not work and NO one reached out , responded to my emails or our maitnence requests. To this day no one ever to this day has called me back. This apartment is nice , but I am moving out at the end of the lease. Spring lake has definitely gone down hill and I don’t doubt it will get worse. I pay almost $2,500 a month for no one to ever get back to me about any issues I have had. I have talked to lots of the neighbors and no one is happy here. Daisy the manager is not professional nor built for her position. These photos below are one of the laundry rooms on the property. UPDATE- I emailed the address provided yet no response , called and continue to get sent to voicemail, plus I went to the actual office and no one was there. This complex is getting worse by the day, see the photo below of the garbage area. My best friend came over to my apartment today , slipped and fell on the stairs outside and now we are at the ER. I’ve contacted the apartment about this and no response.

  I just had my tour of the townhome that i'm going to move in 10/29 and I just fell in love with it. Not only cause it is walking distance to howrth park but its in beautiful side of santa rosa.
