  This is a shout out to two people who continue to provide excellent service and have carried mangement responsibilites in the last 8 months while the building was without a manager. Fernando is the Facility Supervisor and provides timely, efficient and quality services for the entire apartment building. He knows his business well, is detailed oriented and does things the right way. Along with his easy demeanor he undertakes all with a smile. Fernando strives to make living at 888 Fourth St an enjoyable experience. Janiyah is the leasing agent who provided me with a seamless transfer at the end of my lease term. All transactions were completed with efficiency and thoughtfulness. A detailed list regarding must do items was provided to me to prevent delays and frustrations. My new apartment is wonderful the view is incredible and the additional space a big bonus. Janiyah conducts herself in a very professional manner never promising what she cannot deliver but making sure to follow through with what she can. Her engaging personality makes her very easy to be around. At last we have a new manager aboard! I met Valarie this week and it seems like we now have a tight team! She will live on site, so, I have high hopes of being totally comfortable in my apartment, enjoying the community amenities and location for a long period to come.

  Fernando, one of if not the greatest maintenance supervisors. Always makes sure to attend to the issues of our apartment.

  So far, so good. I have lived at 888 a few months. While there has been some turnover in management, we now seem to have stability with a new onsite manager as of last week. I am optimistic that she will be a good fit as so far she is friendly and open. Janiah, in the front office has been always responsive to my requests and helpful in getting on board with any technical issues. Fernando, head of the maintenance team is professional, committed and outstanding at his job. He comes to this facility with a lot of experience, lives on site and seems to know everything there is to know about the building. Annette, the regional manager has been onsite to train our new manager. I have had several interactions with her. She is friendly, knows the ins and outs of the business as she oversees multiple properties for the company and has a good sense of humor. Having a solid team in the building contributes to a good quality of life for all residents. I do not expect perfection as there always things to address in a building this size with 108 apartments and an unknown to me # of tenants. The people I have met in my coming a goings in the building are by and large friendly and willing to converse.

  My Mother-in-law moved in here a year and a half ago and it was the best decision she could've made. Not only is it conveniently located, the building is safe and secure making it perfect for seniors and families. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. :)

  NOTE: review changed from 1 to 3 stars on 5/10/26 4/20/2026: My wife and I moved into these apartments in Nov 2024 when Greystar was managing them. These are very nice with good facilities and excellent location. I would rate them 4 stars when Greystar was managing! Once Greystar left in Summer-Fall 2025, the management stopped doing anything and never responded to any questions or concerns. Our lease ended Nov 10, 2025 and we still have not received our $1200 deposit. We have called and emailed many times, and even sent a Demand Letter on March 16, 2026 and a followup email to the listed property management company, IEC Property Services Corp on April 10, 2026. Nobody has ever replied and we are getting ready to file suit in small claims court for the deposit plus two-fold damages. 4/21/2026: the quick response to the above review was by an AI bot who answered when I called the number provided. I left a message to have the manager call me. A representative from IEC called and said that the check was sent in January. A few days later we learned from the manager at 888 4th that they had NOT sent the check to our specified forwarding address in Seattle, WA but instead had sent it to our vacation rental in Mexico. Every other business sent mail to the proper forwarding address. More incompetence from the local management. 5/10/2026: a check finally arrived on 5/5/2026 for the full deposit. So, I changed my review to 3 stars because the facilities are very good and the location is excellent. I wouldn't rent here again because it was so aggravating (and I don't need such unnecessary stress) and it always lacked a human manager to reach on the phone. Others will have to decide for themselves whether the facilities and location are worth it.
