  I’m very disappointed with how my security deposit was handled after I moved out on August 9. Nearly two months later, I still had not received my deposit. I emailed the leasing office twice to follow up, but received no response. Eventually, I had to go to the leasing office in person to find out what had happened. I was told that the previous assistant manager had left and that the transition had not been handled properly. I was then asked to sign another document so that a new check could be sent to my current address. I understand that staff changes happen, but an internal staffing transition should not result in a former resident’s security deposit being left unresolved for nearly two months, especially after two unanswered emails. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I received an explanation, but no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused by their mistake. I hope the management team improves its communication and follow-up process so that other residents do not have the same experience.

  Living at The Carlyle has been largely smooth, peaceful, and pleasant. It’s a clean, quiet community with nice neighbors, and both the maintenance team and front office staff have been wonderful and attentive throughout my stay. My main issue has been with the amenities. Before moving in, I was clear that an on-site gym was a priority, and I was told the renovation would take roughly six months. Instead, it took multiple years to complete—a major frustration that nearly led me to move elsewhere, though I'm relieved it's now open. Additionally, the newly opened clubhouse comes with notable restrictions. Because it shares space with the leasing office, access requires staff to be present, food isn't allowed, and residents are asked to keep voices down. It unfortunately limits the space’s utility for casual gatherings with friends or family, which feels counter to what an amenity fee should offer. Overall, it’s a solid place to live with great staff, but there is definitely room for improvement regarding amenity access and realistic communication around timelines.

  I love living here! We've been here almost three years now, and I hope we can continue to stay for a long time. The community always feels safe and peaceful, and the team communicates well and keeps us in the loop. Definitely recommend!👍🏽

  Rating: 4.5 / 5 Stars Title: Excellent community with top-tier staff We’ve lived at The Carlyle for a few years, and it has been a wonderful place to call home. Pros: • Apartment Design: Bright, well-lit spaces with clever storage that maximizes the square footage. • Maintenance & Grounds: The property is kept in great shape, and maintenance requests are resolved remarkably fast. The service staff is consistently polite and professional. • Management: Highly responsive, accessible, and respectful. Constructive Note: • Gym: After being closed for an extended refurbishment, it’s back open and functional. However, for a premium community of this size, it could ideally be larger and feature a wider selection of upgraded equipment. Overall, highly recommended!

  Rating: 4.5/5 We have lived in The Carlyle for a few years now, and we have had a mostly excellent experience throughout this time. What's great: the apartments are designed well, with good light & plenty of storage for the floor space. The community looks great, and is kept in great shape. Maintenance requests for any issues are handled very quickly. And the maintenance team has always had helpful individuals who are polite, respectful & very professional. The management team has also been very good - they are always available, they respond quickly, and they've always treated us with respect. What could be better: The only issue has been with the gym. It was closed for a very long time for refurbishing, but after reopening it's been mostly fine. Ideally it should be bigger, & have better equipment, for a premium community of this size.
