  Current Tenant: I've been here for a bit over a year. My starting rate of rent was $3,150 (which seemed high for what this place is), and I checked online today and saw it was $3,500. You can get a way better apartment for that price in my opinion. This is lipstick on a pig. Very cheap updates. The floor is a sticker that has dents in it just from me (85 lb woman) sitting on my kitchen chairs, the sink finishes are so cheap the black peeled off, my kitchen cabinets have a sticky laminate "update" which is peeling off, my fire alarm has been going off and on for an hour and a half. When I moved in they told me I would get 2 weeks free as the offer for signing and verbally the office staff agreed to 4. I never got anything, brought this up to the office around my renewal and they just went silent and provided no response. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. Positives: The maintenance people are very kind, the pool is nice and there is a mini gym.

  What living in Summerwood apartments is like: 8:30am: Huh, the gate is broken and the alarm on it is blaring. I’m sure someone will get to it today 7:00pm: the very alarm is still going off. I attempt to call the complex are routed to a slop bot who tells me to call the security company. The number the ai gave me was disconnected. I then check my emails and find one from the slop bot ”Emma”” that has a different number for the security service… also disconnected. I then Google the company and find the actual number. I report the issue to them and talk to an actual human who says they will look into it. I leave for dinner because the alarm is driving me insane. 9:00pm: the alarm is still going off I call the security company again who tell me THEY also can’t contact the apartment complex 8:00am the next day: the alarm is still blaring at least I had earplugs to sleep in. Don’t live here if you ever expect to talk to a human about any problem in a timely manner. You will be doomed to talk to Emma until the ai has decided your penance has been paid.

  The management team is the worst I’ve ever encountered. When I referred a friend when we moved in, they promised to pay $400 for every referral, but they never did. They’re incredibly dishonest and can’t keep their word. To top it off, our air conditioning unit has been broken for a year and they’ve never fixed it! I’m thoroughly disappointed.

  DO NOT LISTEN TO THEIR HOURS. THEY ARE WRONG. These people do not work. You will never be able to get a response from any of the leasing managers. The staff is extremely incompetent. I’m currently in the process of moving in and my move in time was 11am-4pm. It’s currently 1:30 and we haven’t been able to get into our building yet. The leasing office was literally locked when we got here. I had a mattress delivered and had to leave it outside because we couldn’t get into our apartment. They are so understaffed it’s insane. This is the worst agency ever.

  I am about to sign the lease to this place so cannot really speak on what it’s like to live there yet. However the Summerwood Management team is terrible. I sent 6 different emails and 5 text messages in the span of four days asking them different questions. They do not respond. They are clearly super understaffed and need to hire more people. It takes multiple emails to get a response to one question and they only started responding to me properly after I told them how bad they were at their job. At any other profession, not responding to a client for 4 days would not be acceptable. Of course, I’m the only one who has to suffer the consequences of their mistakes. If your looking for a management team that will respond to you quickly, look elsewhere. Edit: Lmfao, the staff doesn’t even have the time to write a genuine reply. Same copy and paste message to every review. Please hire someone, the service is so atrocious 😭😭😭. They just be sitting doing nothing all day
