  Stay away from Rafferty!! It’s unfortunate that such a beautiful property is overshadowed by an extremely disappointing leasing experience. While the complex itself is modern, luxurious, and offers great amenities, the leasing office communication and professionalism were incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Throughout the application and leasing process, we experienced constant pressure to move quickly due to “other applicants,” yet it became nearly impossible to get clear or consistent communication from the leasing staff. Calls and messages often went unanswered, promised callbacks never happened, and information was frequently contradicted. Good luck communicating with Lani, she’ll speak in circles and fail to follow through on what was promised. We asked for dimensions of our unit on two separate occasions and never sent them. As for Jonathan… genuinely the most deceptive yapper of them all (who will never let you get a word in and will talk over you) who initially toured us and handled our quote, was nearly impossible to reach afterward despite us being under strict time-sensitive deadlines for screening, approval, and lease signing. Repeated attempts to contact him resulted in excuses from the front desk and never followed-up. We also got a vibe that he’s watching tenants at all times through their surveillance cameras. Throughout the tour for the communal amenities, he made comments about specific people he’s watched on a day-to-day basis. We found that super creepy. I’m glad I’m not the only person who noticed that too because if you scroll down to past reviews, someone else felt like they were being watched as well. Parking is also awful, apparently there’s a waitlist for additional parking spots and their best solution is the public parking structure parallel to Rafferty. The property itself may be appealing, but prospective residents should seriously consider the level of support and communication they may receive once they begin the leasing process. Based on our experience, the leasing office did not make us feel valued, supported, or respected as potential tenants.

  Rafferty has honestly been such an amazing place to live! It really feels like a lifestyle upgrade - like living at a resort in the middle of Downtown Santa Ana. The building is always super clean, safe, and you can tell the staff puts a lot of care into keeping everything beautiful and well maintained - staff is always cleaning around the clock and there is a security guard on the premises as well. My guests and I have never felt uneasy leaving or entering the building at night. But what really makes this place special is the staff and the community they create! The leasing team is super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely goes above and beyond for residents. They’re always doing fun events and thoughtful extras for us. Custom tea bars in the lobby, karaoke nights on the rooftop, paint nights in the maker’s room, sometimes a full breakfast too! It makes living here feel so much more special than just “renting an apartment,” and I really hope they keep doing even more of that because it adds so much to the living experience. As someone who used to work in hospitality, I can honestly say the team here has that same warm, elevated touch you’d expect from a hotel or resort, which is rare for an apartment building. Before moving here, life felt really stressful, and living at Rafferty has genuinely made things feel more convenient, accessible, and peaceful for me. And while it is downtown, ambient city noise from the outside comes with the territory - but honestly, our neighbors have been respectful and friendly, and we’ve barely heard anyone around us! We had actually put a deposit down somewhere else before touring Rafferty, but after seeing the amenities, the design, and the overall vibe here, we changed our minds - and we’re so glad we did. Between the beautiful space, great amenities, safety, and the effort they put into resident events, we have zero regrets!

  I have lived here for two years and my lease is up in a couple months. I cannot recommend these apartments. I've had an upstairs neighbor play loud music and cuss people out. When I complain their attitude I felt was don't be a Karen. Then the guy got even more hostile with me slamming the floor every 5-15 minutes at all hours of the night. I've recorded it and they said oh other people have complained about him as well. Well then why was your initial attitude don't be a Karen towards me. I've also had a really expensive specialized bike in the bike storage with two high end kryptonite locks on them. Well it was stolen and they don't record inside the bike storage area as far as I can tell (plus it is overcrowded there).

  If you plan to move here, make sure you bring your own Internet because even though they love to promote that they have Wi-Fi they provide it is completely garbage

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience during my move-in process at Rafferty, and I want to give special recognition to Melissa and her amazing staff. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly, and the entire process was smooth and well-organized thanks to their support. Melissa leads a great team, and it truly shows in the level of customer service they provide. I really appreciate their attention to detail and the care they took to make my move-in stress-free. Highly recommend Rafferty to anyone looking for a well-managed community with an outstanding staff.
