  I am impressed about how friendly the staff members are from the first phone call with Ms. Kaitlyn. I booked a tour online and she called me before the tour to understand our needs and explain the availability and what she can help me with the tour. After learning that we have pets, she made effort to forward our special situation to upper management while emailing us clearly about what documents we need to prepare before the tour. All these proactive help save us time looking for the right place during the stress of searching. We deeply appreciate her help.

  I toured here yesterday. Kaitlyn was very friendly and warm and showed us around the property. This is one of the few places where they take time to show you around and understand your needs. I eventually decided to go with another complex that was closer to work but left here with a very positive experience. I know I would not hesitate to rent here in the future if my work location changed.

  DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! Rent here if you: ❤️ Love your kitchen sink and floor being flooded every month by greasy and stinky water from old pipes and slow maintenance that won’t address your issue until two business days later 🐜 Love animals and especially swarm of ants that climbs onto your bed and bath room

  As a tenant at Mode Apartment at 2089 Pacific Blvd, San Mateo, I couldn’t be happier with my choice! From the moment I moved in, the support from Sasha Richardson, our Community Manager, and Kaitlyn McCaffery, Leasing, has been exceptional. They both have been incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and ensuring I had all the information I needed. One of the highlights of living here is the monthly community events they organize. The Halloween treat bag event was a huge hit with my kids, they absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed a fantastic lobster food truck night on a Friday evening, which provided a delicious atmosphere to socialize with neighbors. The gift wrapping party, complete with pie and hot chocolate, truly captured the holiday spirit. I only wish that more would have attended. In addition to the great community events, I appreciate how clean, quiet, and well-maintained both the interior and exterior of the property are. The beautiful landscaping and tidy common areas create a welcoming environment that truly feels like home. It’s obvious that management takes great pride in maintaining the property. Finally, the common areas are well maintained and my son and I had a terrific time playing ping pong, although we lost more balls than we found. The amenities offered are top-notch, and the overall atmosphere fosters a sense of tranquility that is rare to find in the middle of a city. There are some great parks nearby and safe at night. Mode Apartments is not just a place to live; it’s a place to thrive. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and inviting community!

  I have lived here for almost 3 years and I will stay here for as long as I have to! The layout of the space is perfect! We have a 2x2 with 2 walk-in closets and plenty of living space. I have lived at over 5-8 rental places, nothing is better than MODE especially for the most friendly staff you can ever find. The staff and property manager are so understanding and accommodating to any situation and always doing above and beyond for the residents. Besides all the great onsite amenities, the location is also very centrally located with less than 5mins drive to 3 major supermarket chains (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's & Safeway), workout studios, coffee shops, Caltrain station, corporate shuttle pickup at SM convention center, freeway to 92, 101 and 280, downtown SM, and just 10 mins drive away to SFO! I know it sounds like I got paid to do this but I am just one happy and satisfied current resident!
