- ASAnket SahApr 12, 20241.0I lived in this old apartment complex for over two years, and it was tough. The building is so old that you can hear every single step your upstairs neighbors take. I complained to the leasing office about the noise, but they didn't do anything, and my neighbors got even more unfriendly, even threatening me. When I moved out I cleaned the place, zero damages and returned it just as it was given to me when i first moved in, but they still kept my $250 deposit and even charged me an extra $206. I asked for detailed description and the bills to clarify this amount, but they did not provide that. They threatened to send it to a debt collector if I didn't pay, which would ruin the credit score. It's unfair that just one bad report from these greedy companies can ruin your credit, even if you've always paid your rent on time. I wouldn't recommend renting here. The management is bad and greedy, the neighbors are hostile, and it's way too noisy because it's right next to I-280.
