  I started working with Luiza Ruiz Perez at the end of May, and I can’t thank her enough. I was supposed to move from Point Loma at the beginning of June, but I didn’t get any updates at first, and my previous contact wasn’t available. After reaching out to Luiza at the end of May, she was a game-changer. Today, I went to check the apartment before my move tomorrow, and it was spotless. The entire building is so well taken care of, and the apartment is exactly what I hoped for. I really have to give a huge shout-out to Luiza Ruiz Perez—she’s truly one of my family now. I’m so excited for this next chapter, and I’m confident it’s going to be a positive, amazing experience.

  Blake was very informative and helpful throughout our move in. Apartment was clean and maintained. Service staff was friendly. So far we are very pleased to have moved here!

The management and leasing team are professional, responsive, and genuinely care about residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living. Communication is clear, and the team does a great job keeping residents informed. The location is another standout—convenient, walkable, and close to great dining, shopping, and outdoor spaces. Overall, Vela Apartment Homes offers a high-quality living experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run community with a welcoming atmosphere.
