  Highly disappointed with Sofi Canyon Hills!! As a 6 year resident, it wasn’t always this way, but management is almost nonexistent at this point. Been waiting over a month to get my AC repaired - it’s been 90+ degree every day and electric bills have been $500+/month. Was promised a portable unit, but of course that was forgotten as well. Downstairs neighbor has also been without AC for over a month and they said it will be November before they are able to get HVAC services to come out. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Very unfortunate as well, as this used to be a a great apartment complex.

  ⭐ Extremely Disappointed I have been a resident of this community for three years, and I am extremely disappointed with how management Latoya handled a recent towing incident. On September 9, 2026, another vehicle was parked in our assigned parking space. Because our own assigned space was occupied, I temporarily parked in another reserved space. I want to make this clear: the space where I parked was assigned to an apartment that, to our knowledge, is currently unoccupied. There is no resident currently living in that apartment and no one was using that parking space at the time. I parked there temporarily for approximately two hours because I had nowhere else to park after finding my own assigned space occupied. Instead of contacting me or giving me an opportunity to move the vehicle, my car was towed by Western Towing, and I had to pay $370 to recover it. What is even more frustrating is what happened afterward. We have so much stress that day to find the car SPECHIAL I was carrying my daughter with us to finishing everything I contacted both management Latoya and Western Towing in writing, provided the towing documentation, and specifically raised questions regarding the requirements under California Vehicle Code §22658 and §22953, which regulate private-property towing in California. The towing documentation also raised questions about the authorization and timing of the tow, which I specifically asked them to explain. Nobody has responded. No explanation. No phone call. No follow-up. Nothing. After three years as a resident, I find it extremely disappointing that management will not even respond to a resident regarding a $370 towing charge and questions concerning the legal requirements for the tow. I am not asking management to ignore parking rules. I am asking for a proper explanation of why my vehicle was towed under these circumstances and whether the towing procedure complied with California law. The City of San Diego provides specific requirements and protections concerning private-property towing under California Vehicle Code §§22658 and 22953, as well as a process for residents who believe a tow may have been improper.   Abe came right away and the issue got fixed within 30min of me reporting it. Thank you as I couldn’t turn off my bathtub faucet and was wasting water and costing me money for that water loss as well.

  I can’t say enough good things about our maintenance guy ABEL !!!! Every time we’ve needed help, he’s been prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain what he’s fixing, while working efficiently, and always leaves everything clean when he’s finished.It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their work. He deserves all the recognition for the excellency service! Thank you for your hard work and dedication I truly appreciate everything you do!
