  I've lived at K1 for a while now and have honestly had a really good experience. The building is always clean, and the office staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I've had questions or needed anything. One thing I wasn't expecting is how quiet it is. I almost never hear my neighbors, which is a huge plus when you're living downtown. The location is great too. East Village is close to everything, but it's definitely quieter than the Gaslamp, which I really appreciate. The only downside for me is that not every apartment has a balcony. If you can get one that does though, they're absolutely worth it. They're huge and the views are amazing. Overall, I'm really happy I chose to live here. It's been a great place to call home.

  I've had a great experience in the year that I've lived here. Of course there's always going to be small annoyances with any apartment complex, such as the garage gate breaking, jacuzzi not working, and elevators being down. But they do send frequent email updates letting us know what's going on and they appear to be making their best effort to resolve the issues. I do think these repairs need to be handled faster though. Most of the issues rely on outside vendors to come and fix and we are at the mercy of these vendors. Perhaps finding better vendors may be more appropriate. Compared to my last apartment, and the horror stories you hear from other complexes such as the ketchup & mustard buildings, overall my experience has been awesome and I will be renewing my lease. Plus, they did not raise rent on the renewal which was honestly a nice surprise.

  I recently visited K1 Apartments and had an amazing experience! The property looked incredible, very modern, clean, and well maintained. One of the best parts is that Petco Park is literally right in front of the building, which was a huge plus for me since I’m a big baseball fan. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and Stephanie, the Community Manager, was so nice and made the whole experience feel genuine and comfortable. You can tell she really cares about the community and residents. Overall, I absolutely loved the building, the atmosphere, and the location. Definitely one of the coolest properties I’ve toured in San Diego!

  Love the pool, and cabanas. Sky lounge has amazing sunset & city views. The team works really hard maintaining the building.

  K1 Apartment Homes is a wonderful place to live! I enjoy the interactions I've had within the community and the amenities are amazing. Stephanie is the absolute best along with Paulina and Raymond. I have nothing but good things to say about where I live and it gives you peace of mind knowing any issues go resolved immediately. Couldn't have picked a better place to call home. I highly recommend living here!
