  Vicki Foreman is an amazing escrow officer! Sadly, the escrow officer I used for 20 plus years passed away and I needed to find a new person. I was connected to Vicki and was hoping for the best. I got more than the best. Not only was she consistently immediately available and meticulous about keeping the file and protecting contractual items, she is a total sweetheart. I had a client that needed a lot of handholding and patience and education and Vickie exceeded my every expectation. She even drove the signed loan documents to title HERSELF to make sure we closed on time! I have never had any escrow officer do that in my 23 years in real estate. I cannot sing her praises enough. Not only will I use her from now on, but if you are looking for a new escrow officer to try out, get in touch with Vicki Foreman!

  I would hope if you use this escrow company to close on real estate that they would be better. I used them for escrow on a business. It was a terrible experience. I wish they would have just said they couldn't do it from the onset. They came up with many 'suggested' amendments to the agreement, and most were insane. I almost walked away from the deal altogether, due to a very poor escrow agent. I did end up buying the business and had over-funded escrow. The final straw - they refused to send me the money I had overpaid until I signed a 9 page document releasing them from all liability. Just one example of the many insane practices they use. I just requested a check, and they sent me a check without me signing the 9 pager. They are ridiculous, unprofessional, and they lack business experience or acumen. Additionally, they are about 3 times the cost of other escrow agents who have done much better for me over the years.

  Working with Heritage Escrow is a breeze. In an industry where communication and meeting timelines are heavily weighted, they get 10 stars! Sharla Dabney has always been available, answered questions, and met timelines. Everyone at the company is wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable!
