I've been living here for about 7 months and here are my full thoughts:
Summer was the very first person I've spoken to at the leasing office and not only was she helpful, attentive, and kind during move-in day. But, she also went the extra mile to walk with me to my apartment and insuring that I wouldn't end up in Narnia or something. Upon inspection, everything seemed to work fine. It was just very dusty and had to leave the window open for a few days. After spending a month in the apartment, light fixtures needed replacement. Outlets causing orange sparks to fly out whenever I plugged something in. The fridge wasn't cooling properly. The microwave's buttons weren't working. I seriously believed someone had put a curse on this apartment. Maintenance handled these issues the following day. I just feel bad for calling them in several times weeks apart to fix something. But, they always done a professional job and are in and out quickly. Now, I'll talk about everything else I can't really do much about.
For one, a lot of the kitchen drawers are outdated, the cabinets are chipped and any time you touch them there's (I believe) sawdust that gets onto my hands and it feels like the cheeto dust that's left on your fingers after eating the entire bag. Even the handles on the cabinets unscrew themselves and fall apart.
Insulation, the apartment room I'm in can be hotter than the Mojave Desert. Despite opening the patio door and cooling down the place, it quickly rises to where it was before, even at night. I try not to use the AC because of how expensive SDGE charges for delivery fee.
Walls are paper thin, I can hear a guy sneeze from the floor above me or the latest mean girls gossip happening in the apartment next to mine.
Fire alarm and maintenance. Now, I understand safety always comes first. But hear me out, I would get notified on the day of. They would test throughout the entire day for almost a week straight. Sometimes, even going back for a second round the following week. Once, the fire alarm went off around 3am-4am and turns out the cause of it was just the system being faulty. I'm awake at night and sleep during the day, so this was really irritating to deal with. As for building maintenance, they're always doing some kind of construction or replacement. So, this place is never quiet during the morning and afternoon hours.
Hallways and Elevators. Several months in between the elevator in my building breaks down and it could take days to weeks before it gets fixed. I would be suffering in silence while taking the staircase down to the parking garage. Hallways always has this old library smell and the look of it reminds me of the Backrooms or even Exit 8.
Packages. It's hard to get things delivered here. Drivers can't access the gates. Packages can also end up in four different locations. Your apartment, an amazon locker, your mailbox or parcel pending locker. Despite all of those lovely options, my packages still at times get delivered to a random apartment and I have to go on a whole blues clues investigation to find them.
Overall, I still think the service, location, and atmosphere of the place is better than most apartments I've been in. And the elevator advertisements are always cute to look at.

Although we decided that this was not the right property for us Elena in the office was excellent and knowledgeable and explaining to us the amenities and showing the property.

The maintenance crew is so helpful! Charles has helped us a numerous amount of times and he is so timely and efficient! This place truly is gorgeous and everything a student could want. The staff is super attentive to all your needs, the amazon boxes are efficient, and the pool is always super amazing when it is sunny! The gym makes it super easy to go after classes and not pay for a gym membership. Lastly, the apartments themselves are super cozy and cute!
