  I recently moved our college student into his off-campus apartment at Cypress Landing for the upcoming school year. Being from out-of-state and looking for housing via the internet adds a layer of difficulty you don’t have when you’re able to check out places in person. With so many unknowns and having to rely on photos on property websites and clear communication with property managers, it can be stressful. When I found Cypress Landing Apartments and contacted their office, all of the stress and worry that comes with searching for the right place for your college kiddo to live became a nonissue once I spoke with the property manager, Jenika Sweeney. She was extremely generous with her time when I called and was always so pleasant and patiently answered every question I had - and I called A LOT and had A LOT of questions! She is also very responsive to emails and is quick to reply, providing detailed answers every time. When I explained to her that I was gathering housing info on behalf of a group of other parents whose boys would be our son’s roommates, Jenika even offered to provide us with information about the areas of any other properties we may consider, just so we’d know if they were safe since we aren’t familiar with Salinas. She emailed floor plans and pictures and walked me through the different options she had available. She also gave me details about different lease start dates with cost differences so that our group could choose the best option for our timeframe and budget. Jenika goes above and beyond with the service she provides prospective residents and made our choice of housing easy, and that amazing service doesn’t end once you move in. We can’t say enough good things about Jenika and appreciate all the help and hard work she put into getting our son and his roommates situated into their new apartment. Knowing that our son is living somewhere where the property manager truly cares about her residents means the world to us and gives us the peace of mind that I don’t think we would have found anywhere else. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cypress Landing to anyone in search of an apartment, especially a parent looking for a place for their college student - you’ll be in good hands! The apartment itself is nice, too. ;)

  I enjoyed my time living at Cypress Landing apartments. The complex was always clean and well taken care of. There was always beautiful foliage outside my window. The laundry room always looked neat and in proper order. Management was always quick to respond to emails and was always on top of unauthorized vehicles being parked in the complex. While we had to move due to different needs, I would continue living here in I could.

  Jenika makes Cypress Landing a 5-star property. The property is well maintained and cared for, and she goes above and beyond to take care of her tenants. We applied to several complexes in Salinas, searching for a place for our college aged kids to live this year. Jenika was BY FAR the most helpful, responsive, and supportive manager we worked with. She bent over backwards to make things work for our group. She is a gem!!
