Overview of The Mansion Apartments:
Staff- Amazing group of people, very friendly and accommodating. I have never had many issues with resolving maintenance issues. My AC broke and they were quick to resolve and ensure I had a portable unit in the interim.
Community Living- Neighbors aren’t extremely interactive. This may appeal to some, I do believe the building could do more to build regular community events and encourage interaction.
Move In and Move Out- Be prepared for limited access for moving in and out. The building is expansive and has one elevator for this, so moving is a nightmare. It is also a public elevator, so your movers will be sharing with the community.
Valet Trash- This building has made me aware to ask any future properties about this feature. Be prepared for trash in your halls from about 5:00-10:00 on a regular. The hallways smell like garbage a lot. Also if you need to drop trash outside of regular hours or holidays, it’s not possible. I hosted Thanksgiving and ended up storing my garbage in my closet while my guest visited.
Fobs- The building is “secure” in the sense that no one can leave the first floor, unless of course they decide to use the stairs which are accessible to anyone. No fob required. If you entertain, definitely anticipate meeting each and every person in the lobby. I guess for me luxury would mean some method to be able to invite guest up without constantly having to visit the lobby. Also the front door stays open for a significant period of time when you access it. One evening, someone came in from the street and destroyed the community kitchen.
Pricing- Comparing to other buildings with the same or better amenities, it seems a little pricey for Sacramento.
Alarms- Anticipate at least a bi-monthly evacuation, lasting at minimum 30 minutes or more. I honestly got to a point that I was prepared to burn up as opposed to evacuate one more time.
Guests- This apartments policies, almost seem to discourage you from inviting guests or groups of friends. Maybe this is appealing to some. For me this seems like throwing money away on potential clients.
Apartment- The apartment layouts are well thought out and appliances great. 10/10 on the actual apartments.
Overall: Great Apartment, Great Staff. Luxury in Idea, but not in practice, Community Policies out of touch with reality, not competitive with local pricing.

Rikki Lee has made our experience at The Mansion truly exceptional. From day one, she has been incredibly warm, welcoming, and always quick to help with anything we’ve needed. Over the past couple of years living here, her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for residents have stood out time and time again.
The entire staff at The Mansion has been wonderful, but Rikki consistently goes above and beyond. She creates such an inviting atmosphere and makes residents feel valued and taken care of. The Mansion is incredibly lucky to have someone like her on the team. Thank you, Rikki, for helping make our time here so awesome!

Was lied to about being able to apply for a steep parking pass when we moved in. The building is listed as mixed use but it’s a residence. Paying for a “parking spot” in the garage doesn’t actually give you a spot so if it’s full you can’t park there. Constant fire alarms in the middle of the night gave and my pets anxiety. The main elevator is ALWAYS broken. Staff is always changing. The only staff who I enjoyed seeing was Michael and Amet. They’re the kindest men. The pool is really nice and the gym is great.
