  My experience with Natomas Park Apartments has been unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I paid a $200 holding deposit for my rental application, which they received by July 8, 2026, for an anticipated August 1 move-in. I signed the acknowledgment regarding the deposit, and when my application was denied on July 20, I was notified that my holding deposit would be refunded. A deposit disposition was subsequently generated, printed, and mailed to me on August 5. I have also been told that the refund was issued. However, I have never received the $200. As of August 31, 2026, it has been 42 days since I was notified that my application was denied, and I still do not have my holding deposit. The 21-day mark passed on August 10, yet I am still having to follow up about money that their own documentation indicates should have been returned. What makes this particularly frustrating is being told that the refund was issued while I have received nothing. If the refund was actually issued, I believe it is reasonable to expect clear documentation showing the date, method, and destination of the payment. I understand that rental applications can be denied, but the refund process should be straightforward, timely, and properly documented. At this point, I am simply asking for the $200 holding deposit that I paid to be returned, or for clear proof of where and when the refund was sent. This has been a very frustrating experience for an applicant who was simply trying to secure housing.

  I had a great experience touring the community with Maikiah . She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. She did an excellent job explaining the different floor plans, amenities, and everything the community has to offer. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about making residents feel comfortable. Based on the tour alone, I would definitely recommend Natomas Park Apartments to anyone looking for a place to live.
