Lots of roaches in my apartment lately, Asset Living cares more for quarterly profits than keeping us free of rodents and pests. Property manager does everything to avoid you, he’s weak. He inherited the complex good then it went down hill from when he took over 👎🏼
I've lived here through multiple ownership changes and I can say without hesitation: do not move here.
The roach problem is ongoing and never gets fixed. When I brought it up, I was told it's just expected because we're near land and water. That's not an answer. Paid parking means nothing here either. People park in your spot constantly and the office won't do a thing about it.
The amenities they advertise aren't worth the mention. The pool gets taken over by people who don't even live in the complex. The hallways and alleys are a free-for-all — kids on e-bikes, noise at all hours, dog waste that never gets cleaned up. If you live below the third floor, you will hear every single step and sound from the unit above you. Every night smells like weed, and people are partying until 3am regularly.
The office staff will smile at you and accomplish nothing. Luis deflects every issue you bring to him rather than addressing it. And Brittany, 4x2=8 . You did not need to pull out a large calculator for that. That moment said everything.
Packages are another gamble. If it doesn't go directly to your door, expect it to end up in the mailroom where things go missing even with cameras present. The office's response? Their hands are tied.
The one and only bright spot is Tracy, the handyman. He actually shows up and does what he says he will. He's the reason this review has even one star.
Save yourself the headache and keep looking.

After more than 5 years here I am done. I will tell you exactly what their response to this review will say. It will be something like "Thank you for your feedback, we take these concerns seriously and would like to discuss them further. Please reach out at your earliest convenience so we can work towards a resolution." I know because I have read it on every other review here. I have also shown up in person multiple times over 5 years to the person in charge and heard the same thing face to face. Nothing ever happens.
Roaches come up through the drain lines. Their solution after 5 years is to close your drains at night. They sent someone to spray once. Still here. Park in your paid spot and they'll tell you to check back in a day. Electrical sockets that never worked. Leaking dishwasher. The list goes on.
The office staff are nice but ultimately ineffective. This is not on them personally. Short of failing multiple times to send printed copies for anything. This falls entirely on whoever signs the checks. After 5 years the pattern is always the same — acknowledge, deflect, do nothing.
Read every 1 star review here. Notice they all describe the same problems. Notice the owner responses are word for word identical. I lived it for over 5 years. That tells you everything you need to know before you sign anything.
If you want to save your money, stay away from this place!!!After moving out, we were charged $1,000 for carpet cleaning, even though we left the carpets clean. Management provided photos that we do not believe were from our apartment and used them to justify these charges.
We felt completely misled and taken advantage of. The move-out process seemed designed to extract as much money as possible from former tenants. What starts as a normal apartment lease may end with unexpected charges and your account being sent to a collection agency.
There are many other places to live. Choose a property that treats its tenants fairly and honestly.

Very dirty apartments and a very dirty property overall. The area is noisy, and we are so happy that we moved out. To make matters worse, after we left, they sent us an unreasonable bill that we do not believe was justified. This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. These are terrible apartments, and I would not recommend dealing with them at all.
