  After moving here and living for a bit, happy to say that it's one of the nicest apartments complexes I've stayed at. Staff is incredibly friendly, they consistently keep the shared areas clean, the surrounding areas are quite and nice and rent is a reasonable price for today's day and age. Would very much recommend!

  I lived here from 2025 to 2026, and this was, without question, the worst place I have ever lived. The management is absolutely terrible. It's nearly impossible to find the property manager in the office, and calling them is a complete waste of time. If you need anything, your only realistic option is to send an email. Maintenance is an absolute nightmare. Don't expect anything to be fixed unless you constantly follow up over and over again. I had three separate maintenance requests for my kitchen cabinets, and every single one took more than three months to get a response and finally be repaired. No tenant should have to chase management for months just to get basic maintenance done. The common areas are just as disappointing. The trash area was almost always overflowing and filthy, and the laundry room constantly had broken machines or other issues. It felt like nothing around the property was ever properly maintained. I've rented several places over the years, and this is the only apartment where I couldn't wait for my lease to end. I have renewed leases at every other place I've lived because I value stability, but this property was so poorly managed that I chose to move out instead. That alone says everything. If you value responsive management, timely maintenance, or a clean and well-maintained property, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better places to live than this one.

  I’ve lived here for over 3 years. The prices for the units are about the same as any apartment in the area, maybe a bit cheaper. But the difference is the employees and cleanliness of the building. The employees are extremely tentative to your needs. Debbie, the Manager, is extremely nice and helpful and she is always available. Any negative opinions of this place are completely unfounded. There are always those types of people who are never satisfied. You can listen to negative Nellie’s or you can come see for yourself. Update: I forgot to mention that this apartment complex has its own gym, laundry room, outdoor grill area, and a lounge for entertaining guests.

  This review is in response to the service I received from Debbie, the community manager. I received notice that my windows would be replaced about a week before they were to be replaced. I am moving out two days after the scheduled construction, which would disrupt the ability of my significant other to work from home, effectively forcing her to take that time off work without enough notice. (The office was made aware that my s/o works from home when we moved in a month ago.) Knowing that there were vacant units that could easily be worked on instead of mine, I asked that the work be delayed two days. Debbie insisted that this was impossible without giving a credible reason. Later, I got a call from the superintendent, who said that it was no trouble. Debbie was adamant that nothing could be done without bothering to look into it for even a moment and I feel this speaks to her character as a person and to the management of Pleasant Hill village. To be quite frank, management is setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I should not have to argue with them for an issue to be looked into, especially a protected right like my Right to Quiet Enjoyment. On a related note, my water was turned off for a full day without notice, which is another violation of tenants rights. Before we moved in (from across the country), we were told there was a laundry facility. When we arrived, we discovered that it had been demolished and no one had thought to tell us that before we drove cross country. Management was fully aware of the situation, but chose not to inform us. I believe this is because manytenants are moving out in protest. Minutes after signing the lease, I was confronted by no less that three separate people who urged me to not move in at all. That was only the beginning. Avoid Pleasant Hill Village at all costs. I take my reviews seriously and stand by my words. I have used no hyperbole or exaggeration. I would also like to note that one of the property managers, who lived directly below us, would smoke indoors. The entire building reeks of cigarettes. All of my clothes now smell like cigarettes. TLDR: Do not live here. It will be a bad time.
