I have been using the Loft Living portal to pay my apartment rent. Recently, I updated my bank account information and made a payment with my new account. However, the system still tried to withdraw money from my old, closed bank account, which caused me to be charged a $25 NSF fee.I am 100% certain that I did not make a mistake and that I completed the payment with my new bank account. However, The office says tells me to check with my bank. In my opinion, this issue is not related to the bank. Maybe I made a mistake or maybe the website did, but it was not intentional, and I should not have been charged this $25 fee. I have been a resident here for 3 years and have never been late on rent. The portal has no Help, Support, or Contact Us options, so I have no way to get assistance. On top of that, they have blocked me from using the site to pay rent for 3 months, forcing me to pay by cashier’s check. This caused me additional inconvenience and a $10 fee for the cashier’s check. This situation is very frustrating, and I have no other choice but to leave this review here in hopes that someone from Loft Living or 100 boyd sees it and improves their customer support. If you are a resident using this system, be aware that getting help is very difficult.

I’ve lived here for over 3 years. The prices for the units are about the same as any apartment in the area, maybe a bit cheaper. But the difference is the employees and cleanliness of the building. The employees are extremely tentative to your needs. Debbie, the Manager, is extremely nice and helpful and she is always available. Any negative opinions of this place are completely unfounded. There are always those types of people who are never satisfied. You can listen to negative Nellie’s or you can come see for yourself. Update: I forgot to mention that this apartment complex has its own gym, laundry room, outdoor grill area, and a lounge for entertaining guests.

I lived here from 2020-2022 and I'm happy I'm no longer living there. The apartment amenities are nice but not the greatest. Washer/dryer room-2/10----12 machines thats shared with 100 other apartments....absolute joke. PARKING -- 1/10 -----even though the ad said parking is included, I had to wait 2 months for an assigned parking spot. there is no guest parking, so if you have friends or family visiting, they'll need to park in the theater parking lot across the street. --Parking in the theater lot isn't the safest, cars are always getting broken into. MANAGEMENT-2/10---Managers on site were friendly but worked at a snails pace. I found it quite odd that the mangers weren't on site on Sun and MON. so if you had any issues that came up on friday or saturday, you wouldn't hear back till maybe Wednesday. APT THEFT-I had my car broken into in the Apartment parking lot and management did nothing about it. I sent them a case number and I never a response from them. My Girlfriends car was also broken into in the apartment parking lot, and I had the same result....no response from management. Apartment unit itself was safe, having to use a key or fob to enter. Apartment Fire Alarm--If you guys enjoy hearing the fire alarm go off at 3am, this apartment is for you. Management stated that it was getting repaired, and in the 2 years I was there the alarm went off about 15-20 times. Usually in the evening or just past midnight. Apartment unit--7/10 in unit storage was ok, but not the worst. small closet by the front door for your coats and stuff kitchen had plenty of cabinets to store stuff as well bedroom-average bathroom-average balcony- VERY SMALL living room/dining room- was spacious and very open. the Dining area, kitchen is 75% of the apartment. Natural lighting--2/10. The only natural light you'll get is through the balcony door and from your bedroom window. If you're looking for your first apartment, this would be a good start since the apartment is located right in downtown. Walking distance to a lot of stores and shops. If you're looking for more amenities, I'd look elsewhere.

This review is in response to the service I received from Debbie, the community manager. I received notice that my windows would be replaced about a week before they were to be replaced. I am moving out two days after the scheduled construction, which would disrupt the ability of my significant other to work from home, effectively forcing her to take that time off work without enough notice. (The office was made aware that my s/o works from home when we moved in a month ago.) Knowing that there were vacant units that could easily be worked on instead of mine, I asked that the work be delayed two days. Debbie insisted that this was impossible without giving a credible reason. Later, I got a call from the superintendent, who said that it was no trouble. Debbie was adamant that nothing could be done without bothering to look into it for even a moment and I feel this speaks to her character as a person and to the management of Pleasant Hill village. To be quite frank, management is setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I should not have to argue with them for an issue to be looked into, especially a protected right like my Right to Quiet Enjoyment. On a related note, my water was turned off for a full day without notice, which is another violation of tenants rights. Before we moved in (from across the country), we were told there was a laundry facility. When we arrived, we discovered that it had been demolished and no one had thought to tell us that before we drove cross country. Management was fully aware of the situation, but chose not to inform us. I believe this is because manytenants are moving out in protest. Minutes after signing the lease, I was confronted by no less that three separate people who urged me to not move in at all. That was only the beginning. Avoid Pleasant Hill Village at all costs. I take my reviews seriously and stand by my words. I have used no hyperbole or exaggeration. I would also like to note that one of the property managers, who lived directly below us, would smoke indoors. The entire building reeks of cigarettes. All of my clothes now smell like cigarettes. TLDR: Do not live here. It will be a bad time.
