  Living at Oceanaire and leaving it was all very bittersweet. Initially, we were so excited to live so close to the ocean that it was easy to overlook the price. The views, the exclusive dog-friendly beach, and the walking distance shopping+ dining options were all major perks. Unfortunately, in the two years we lived there we went without hot water when the water heater broke (for a whole week), and without any water (for a whole week) when a pipe burst in our same building. No discounts or reasonable/alternative accommodations were made. We were told to shower in the gym (the whole building was instructed to do this) where they knew that shower drain was clogged. One of the leasing agents responded to our it was "an act of God" when we expressed our frustration and upset about zero reparations being offered for such a massive inconvenience. The third time we had issues with the water I finally threatened to report them to the county if it wasn't fixed within 48 hours and guess what? It was fixed within 48 hours. At the end of the day, the management can't offer the luxury experience that they charge for which is a shame and flat out unacceptable. With all the money coming in, the integrity of these buildings should be top notch but my impression is that they hope for the best until the worst happens and the response is a shoulder shrug. Sad. All three of my stars go to the groundsmen, Charles and Gil, who were always such a pleasure to work with. We loved them, our dog Charlie loved them, and we will miss seeing them around the complex. We know that if structural integrity was within their capabilities they would've never let us go without water for a day, let alone a week. That's really all I can say. It's sad we didn't have enough incentive to stay because we really love Pacifica. We may return one day, but not to Oceanaire under the current management.

  Wonderful! The maintenance crew are great. Charles and Gilbert will go out of their way to help you. They fix things immediately. The residents are all very nice. I would come back again.

  It was amazing, just the only apartment available was too small and too high of a price for how small it was.
